The Maryland Department of Transportation's Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is a state-operated public transportation agency. The MTA operates and/or administers a comprehensive transit system throughout the Baltimore-Washington region, offering Local Bus, Light Rail, Metro Subway, Commuter Bus and Mobility paratransit services.
