Marylhurst University is a private applied liberal arts institution serving a diverse student body of Oregonians (and beyond) since 1893. Marylhurst is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, and our programs are designed for highly focused students who often must balance their studies with work and family responsibilities.
Our teaching and learning experience emphasizes personal attention and peer learning through small, seminar-style classes offered at our scenic campus 10 miles south of Portland, Oregon, or online. We provide a range of options to customize your learning experience, from day to evening or part- to full-time programs. Our innovative undergraduate and graduate programs encourage students to make connections between multiple areas of study, preparing students as critical and interdisciplinary thinkers who develop new insights and ideas.

Rooted in this Catholic intellectual identity, we are open to and welcoming of people from all backgrounds and faiths.
