The Marysville Food Pantry in Marysville, Ohio provides families in need with food that has been graciously donated to the pantry. This food allows families to cook meals at home throughout the month.
The Marysville Food Pantry was started in 1982 to help alleviate hunger in the Marysville area. It moved into its permanent home in October 2004, at 333 Ash Street thanks to community support over the years.
The pantry relies on donations from those who care about the hungry. Churches, citizens, businesses, organizations, and public officials all partner together to contribute to the pantry.
Roberta and Richard Simpson were the founds of the pantry. Today, their son, Gary, still leads the volunteer staff.
The Marysville Food pantry serves approximately 400 families per month, providing them with a variety of food. All of this is made possible by the generous donations of the community. Additionally, we thank our continued support we receive from Krogers, Aldis, Wal-Mart, and Meijer.
Our mission is to help alleviate hunger in the Marysville area.
