Marysville High School is a public high school in Marysville, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Marysville Exempted Village School District. Club sports include boys and girls lacrosse, gymnastics, and bowling.The wrestling program is consistently ranked among the top in the state, and produces state placers at the state tournament each year, including a state champion in 1992, 2000, 2007, 2013, two in 2014, and one in 2015.Extracurricular activitiesThe band has made an appearance at the OMEA State Marching Band Finals in each of the years from 1997 to 2015. The Marysville Marching Monarchs perform the "Incomparable Script OHIO" at football games. Script OHIO has been performed by MHS since 1999, under the direction of Bill Thissen.Marysville High School is home to the Marysville Swingers Unlimited, an award-winning show choir, which travels throughout Ohio and the mid-west. The Swingers Unlimited has been an active group at the high school for over a quarter century, and have won over 20 grand championships in the last seven years. The Marysville Swingers Unlimited are under the vocal direction of Jeremy Alfera with combo direction by Jacob Newland, and choreography by Alfera, Alex Hall, and Randy Sage. Alfera is a nationally known choreographer and has arranged music for many other award winning show choirs as well.
