Loudest library I have ever been in; even the quiet spaces fall pray to the loud ambient noises from patrons and staff. If I had access to my own transportation, I would go to the Delaware Library; there they respect the sanctity and the essence of what a library should be. If you need a space to be productive and study, then this is not the place. On a positive note, the staff is nice and friendly, and they have great community services for families and kids.
The notary and the manager need to learn the notary laws and treat everyone the same regardless of their skin tone. Suzanne needs to not be touching people and comment on their hair either. Suzanne made me extremely uncomfortable.
good selection of books, clean, in a good place. it's around everything else.
Very nice library with several kids areas and places to work for adults.
So cleaned and organized, the best part is that the employees are kind
Almost no classics. Very limited selection of nonfiction except for religious, health, & childcare. Staff usually nice & helpful but don't ever forget to return something. I got a notice threatening a collection agency after the long shutdown. That has put me off from ever borrowing again. I was waiting for a notice they were reopened. Would be nice to be sent a reminder if something is overdue instead of being threatened with debt collector.
We have been to multiple different libraries during the whole covid situation. Each time that we have been to the Marysville library it has not been a good experience. No public restroom?! Me and my children were spoken to rudely multiple times. 'Don't touch books, get your mask over your nose, etc.' Mind you I had a mask on and I am pregnant. I understand people may be "doing their job…" but, I know that there is a better way to treat the community members that support your library . You do want people to come into the library, right? This isn't the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time that me and my children have been treated not nice at this particular library. We love going to the library. But, unfortunately when we go to the Marysville library which is closest to our home it's not usually a good experience for us. I am hopeful that this can change. They can do better! Not sure what the difference is between the Marysville library and so many others. But, there is a clear difference.
Staff is amazing. Incredibly helpful. Full service library and you can get materials from Columbus Public library system. Make request online, get text when it gets there, go in and pick up. Easy. Always something going on. Plenty of convenient parking.
This is a great resource for the community. They have everything you will need under one roof. My children are learning how to use the Overdrive app to download audio and ebooks for our road trips. Each part of the library is well laid out, organized and comfortable to hang out a while. My kids love the booths downstairs.
This is a pretty decent library for the size of Marysville. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that 90% of the time they don't have the books I'm looking for although I can request them from another library in the network which can be mildly irritating.
