Maryville University offers music therapy programs at both the bachelor's and master's levels - the only music therapy degrees offered in St. Louis. Maryville students can prepare for careers in this growing health care field. Music therapists often work in interdisciplinary treatment teams serving individuals with mental disorders, substance abuse, dementia, autism, developmental and physical disabilities and other disorders.
