This mosque is the only one around financial district. The place is very clean. There are a lot of shoes racks. They have a different praying area for men and women. I love the ambience which is very calm and peaceful. They also have a Islamic class after the Dhuhr pray.
Large, clean, orderly. The sister's space has a shower and kitchen. It's an excellent masjid. Maa shaa Allah. Please stick to classical Islam with all it's beauty and perfection.
AsSalaamu alaikum, It has come to my attention, as well as the attention of several members of the Muslim community, that Sheikh Mostafa's classes and claims have been causing division and confusion among the congregation. His statements have raised serious doubts about his ability to lead and guide the community effectively. It is imperative that a place of worship such as Masjid Manhattan serves as a unifying force for our community, fostering an environment of harmony, understanding, and spiritual growth. Unfortunately, Sheikh Mostafa's classes seem to be contrary to this principle, as they appear to be leading to division and hate. In light of these concerns, I respectfully request that the Board of Masjid Manhattan consider a thorough evaluation of Sheikh Mostafa's claims and teachings. If it is found that he is indeed contributing to the division and misguidance within the community, I strongly urge that appropriate measures be taken, including his potential removal from his current position. I believe that this step is necessary to safeguard the unity and well-being of the Muslim community that relies on Masjid Manhattan as a source of spiritual guidance and support. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will handle it with the utmost care and consideration for the well-being of the community.
Small but clean masjid downstairs for brothers, with prayer room and washrooms for sisters in the 4th floor. There is an elevator.
Nice place to pray and communicate with beautiful brothers around you. This is one of the best Downtown Manhattan Masjids. Always love to pray over here.
Found this cute little Mosque and I was ever glad to have it open. My husband and I kept going to the mosques but they were all closed. We worried we wouldn’t be able to pray after the Liberty Cruise but found a nice place. I love how the sister’s side is spacious with a Wudhu area and a clock that shows prayer times. Do keep in mind for summer they stay open until after Ishaa prayers so around 10:30 Us I also love the little notes and pictures about how to pray and such.
Fast time I pray at masjid Juma, I feel is very happiness
Masjid is lower Manhattan. It has two access doors. One leads to stairs other one leads to elevator access. The wudu place is in the basememt. It's multi storied mosque, very spacious. Women's prayer room is on 4th FL. Went there on last week jumma prayer, Feb 18th. Prayer began around 1.30-1.45 pm. This mosque needs more financial support to operate, please donate generously.
JazakAllah for maintaining the masjid so well. Prayer hall, wudu area, rest rooms were clean. We offered Maghrib prayer.
Nice Mosque, African community based mosque Sunni. Very clean and quite place for salat.
