I wanted to do business at a local store rather than buy on line. I almost didn't stop when I saw a different name on the Mason-Montgomery store. Then I saw the a-frame sign on the sidewalk saying they still carried New Balance. The sales guy was very helpful, but supply chain issues cause a very limited inventory of walking shoes. I bought a pair of cross trainers spent a little more than I would have for walkers, but that's OK. Supporting local businesses is important!
no longer a new balance store, but they still carry new balance shoes....they just are no longer a corporate store. they are now a lucky shoes store. The employee I spoke to was very nice and was willing to go out of his way to help me.
I had a great experience. The sales person put me in a shoe and gave me an insert that has helped tremendously with my heal. Service was friendly and professional. I do feel like their prices are a bit high, but for the comfort of my feet, I would pay it again.
Good quality shoes and good service. Like that I was measured once on my first visit for the shoes and inserts. Now the manager just looks up my shoe details and I'm out the door. Shoes are expensive but I wait for 20% coupon to come to my email. Makes prices more reasonable and I'm willing to pay for the New Balance fit and quality.
Never been to a New Balance store before, but was really impressed. We met the store manager, Danny, who manages this and a number of other New Balance stores. He was incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful. He watched and worked with how I walked to find me the perfect model. Very impressed, and confident I have a the best shoe for my fitness needs. Would recommend. A bit pricy, but nothing out of this world, and you can find some reasonably priced options as well!
If I could give 0 stars I would. The man working could not have been more rude to me and my mom. Ended up not purchasing any shoes because of the bad service. I would recommend ordering online to avoid it.
My feet feel so awesome now, I loved the guy that help me I wish I got his name. He measured my feet and took ink prints of then to see where the pressure is. Yes it was expence but so far well worth it. No more pain.
I don't like writing negative reviews, and this is one of the rare instances. I have been in exclusive New Balance shoe stores before and all, except this one, has had an abundance of shoes on display and available - often the entire product line. After all, it is New Balance only. This store was like the wide open expanses of the desert for the most part with several display racks on the wall. We were primarily interested in kid's shoes, and they had 6 pairs of younger kids shoes on display and 6 pairs of older kids shoes on display. We asked if that was the entire product line of NB, the store clerk wasn't sure and advised us to check on line. No other product catalogues except vendor outlet specific stock advise catalogues that were useless for the consumer At that point what is even the point of going into a store like this. I could understand a general vendor like Meijers, Target or whatever, but a brand specific store???? Unconscionable, but that is my opinion. And as other reviewers have noted, the prices were EXPENSIVE. Most of the current offerings seemed to be $130 and up. They did have a clearance shelf, but not much was on clearance nor were the prices discounted much. This is in contrast to other competitors I shop and and their brand specific stores are a whirwind of everything they have, tons of promotions and discounts, and sales associates ready to help at the slightest sign. And if they don't have your size they can get it same or next day, ship it direct to you free return postage, you name it - the full court press. With New Balance you get the definite impression that they could care less. Coupled with high prices and a lase-fare attitude they definitely seemed to be communicating that you are better off shopping somewhere else and pick a brand that cares about their customers. About the two stars - I would have given them one star but the staff was friendly even if they didn't seem that knowledgeable. I chalk that up to the NB corporate culture and training and not their fault. NB doesn't give the staff much to work with in my opinion which is not staff's fault.
Nice store with a friendly staff. They didn't have the shoe I wanted in the right color so they ordered it from another store and had it shipped to me! It arrived quickly and I great condition.
Shoe salesman was very helpful. He recommended a differrant shoe from the ones I purchased the last time I was in the store. The new ones are more stable.I couldn't have been more satisfied with my purchase.THANK YOU.
