Mason Jewelers was started my my mom and pop, Dorthea and Harold Mason 60 long years ago. They created a store that is trusted, loyal, and coveted by locals. My dad was a goldsmith and a watch maker! I caught the bug from him and soon followed in his path! Crafting something as delicate yet valuable as gold is rewarding! I make memories and 1-of-a-kind pieces that are passed down through generations! Over the years the jewelry has changed but DIAMONDS WILL ALWAYS BE A GIRLS BEST FRIEND!

I went to this family owned business to have a ring remounted into a new setting. From the moment I walked in with my husband, I felt very comfortable. I talked extensively with Mr.Mason about what I wanted. He also gave me excellent suggestions. I decided on a new setting, and he said it would be done today. I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing of the ring! Good to his word, the ring was done exactly when he said it would be, and I love it! Becky checked us out, and again gave us some valuable information! Great customer services, excellent pricing! Thank you for going above and beyond!

Mason's is always kind, thoughtful and courteous when I go in his shop. Whether I have a question or a need, he's there to help. He's honest and does great work. Highly recommend from a current and previous customer.
Mason is a friendly kind man to deal with. He has fair excellent prices and he is not out to rip you off like alot of your big name jewellers. He does excellent work on repairs and special orders. He was awesome in helping me pick out a new, beautiful wedding set. If you don't have a lot to spend, just talk to him and he will help you out!
I have brought my broken jewelry and watches to Mason's for over 30 years. They have always been very friendly to me and they do a great job at a reasonable price! I really appreciate having someone that I can trust with my few precious pieces*! *If you ask for engraving, be sure he writes it down like you want it. They also have a very nice stock of beautiful jewelry!
I just recently discovered this "gem" of a store pun intended!. I was looking for someone to re-string the pearls given to my mother by my father on their wedding day. This would be my wedding gift to my daughter for her upcoming wedding. Sadly, the cost to purchase enough new pearls to create the length she wanted was going to be too much. About 2 weeks later, the Masons staff contacted me to tell me they had come across a used necklace and quoted a price we could afford! The end result is so beautiful-- and our daughter will have a family heirloom to pass on someday to HER children! Thank you for taking the time to make this possibility a reality!
Oh My! I couldn't believe the difference they made to a 53 years old solitaire birthstone ring but it looked brand new! I am proud to pass this along to my 10 year old granddaughter. Four new prongs, cleaned and polished for $40. I am happy with their service and will use them again in the future.
Well I am pretty disappointed to say the least. Let me start with I have been a customer of Mason Jewelers since the mid 80’s. Even when I moved to Indianapolis, I went to the location in Plainfield. Not only have I bought several items from both locations, I even had some custom made items. Now that I’m back in Greencastle, I wouldn’t go anywhere else, until now. Last week I took my wedding rings in to be soldered together. I asked what it would cost. I was told $30-$45. That sounded reasonable to me, as I also have worked in the field. I received a text message yesterday informing me that it was ready. I responded and asked what the total charge was. The reply said $60!!!! I text back saying “wow, that’s a big difference between $30-$45@. Again a reply saying “ Estimate on the envelope says $60”. I replied “ I don't know where that came from, because he told me $30 to $45, but OK I’ll be in soon” I arrived and was charged $60. Now I will never go back, I’m posting a review, and will share my experience with everyone in need of jewelry or repairs. They had a chance to avoid this just by adjusting the fee before I picked up. #amanswordmeansnothing
