Massage therapy is a great way to relax, help with pain management, and alleviate stress.
I graduated from The Salon Professional Academy for Massage Therapy in February of 2015. I chose to become a massage therapist because I truly enjoy helping others.
When I was in high school, I experienced a tragic death in my family and was gifted a day at a spa with my grandmother and sister. I was very upset and stressed and in a day, I was able to actually forget about my problems. I remember the massage I received (my first one) and it was truly amazing.
I strive to improve myself so that I can continue to help others in a way I was once helped. Just because you haven't had something tragic happen, doesn't mean that a day (or even just an hour) at a spa isn't for you.
