Frank's restoration work surpassed my expectations. Not only did he restore my desk to its original condition, but he also finished the job earlier than I had expected! SOMETHING OLD AND WORN, BECAME NEW AGAIN! We wanted our 50+year old dining room chairs reglued and recaned they were falling apart! We also wanted our two kitchen counter chairs legs cut shorter. Our go to furniture repair guy Sabastian, has long gone out of business so I called Frank owner of Master of Furniture in RVC and told him what I wanted done. Frank sounded very pleasant, and told me he would be in my area that same day and would stop by to take a look at what needed to be done. When Frank came over we discussed what he would do and how much it all would cost. The total price was a little more than I expected, so Frank suggested not doing all the chairs at one time. Do some now, and some later down the road to help my budget work. I decided to get them all done at once! Frank said it would take a couple of weeks to finish everything, the kitchen counter chairs he could have back in a week. A week later, we got our counter chairs back cut to the right height. Today two days before Easter Sunday Frank delivered all the dining room chairs and they all look beautiful! We are so VERY HAPPY we chose Master of Furniture to work and repair our chairs! Everything matched, and the chairs once again are sturdy and strong! We strongly recommend calling Frank @ MASTER of FURNITURE for any furniture repair, or refinishing, and recaning work, that needs to be done! Joe & Angela, Long Island NY
Frank is The Master of Furniture!! I had two pieces to refinish - both having been in my family for over 50 years. I wanted to keep these pieces in the family but since they didn’t match my decor I figured I would have to keep them in storage. Having them refinished and brought back to life was the best decision! Frank did an amazing job! I felt confident about the job he would do from the minute he showed up to take the furniture to his shop. Once it returned I was blown away! Both pieces looked like new and were absolutely gorgeous!! I highly recommend Master of Furniture!
I did a quick google search for a furniture repair shop near me for a rushing job I needed done on an antique chair. I found Frank's shop Master of Furniture and was quickly impressed by his knowledge and his genuine love for repair and restoration. After a quick conversation, I told him I had a matching table for the chair that had been severely damaged by movers a family heirloom and I've been waiting for the right person for the job to fix it. I knew I could trust him. Frank and his son picked up the table the next day, and within three days, completely transformed the table to brand new. The table is at least 50 years old and I had family dinners on it every night growing up, which makes it priceless to me. Giving Frank the job required a lot of trust and he did not disappoint. I literally was in tears when they delivered it. They are TRULY masters of their craft. The chair looks brand new again and I couldn't be happier with the results. Look NO further - this is where you want to come for your furniture restoration and repair. They've been in the biz for almost four decades - so you can rest assured they are in it because they love it. Thanks Frank!
