The wait time is a bit long, however, the sonographer Ms. Whitney was absolutely amazing. She was so kind, patient and informative during my ultrasound. The doctor I spoke with after, Dr. Feng, has horrible bedside manner, is condescending and made a rude remark that shocked me to be honest. I have to go back monthly and will ask if there is a more professional and caring doctor.
I was referred here by my OB since I'm having twins, & I was NERVOUS after reading some of these reviews. But my personal experience was honestly great! I was in the waiting room for less than 10 minutes before I was called back. I got my ultrasound & waited for the doctor to come in, & that did take about 30 minutes. But I really didn't mind, doctor's offices can be busy. The ultrasound tech & Dr. Lipscomb were AMAZING. They both were so kind, attentive & made me feel really comfortable. The girls up front were also very nice! With having twins, it's easy to get overwhelmed, but this place helped ease my mind a bit. I really enjoyed my experience!
Just wanted to shout out one of the ultrasound techs I believe her name is Whitney is one of the most sweetest and caring person I ever met. She wasn’t aggressive while doing my ultrasound and I didn’t feel rushed. She took her time and cleaned the gel off of me when she finished and waited till I was all good to start heading over to another room to speak with the doctor. She has excellent bedside manner, thank you Whitney
I had a great experience here - both the ultrasound tech Oksana and Dr. Iwueke were so professional and lovely. My husband and I were really pleased with the experience. The appointment does take a while, but that was to be expected since they are very thorough with the ultrasound and then the doctor went over the results with us afterwards.
It was difficult getting an appointment in the Lawrenceville office and after looking at reviews I was nervous about going but I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I arrived until I walked out the door the staff was so kind and caring. Front office greeted me, I was in the waiting room less than five minutes, the ultrasound technician was absolutely the best, and the doctor was so nice. I'm excited to go back in 4 weeks. 5 stars from me.
I had a great experience at the Lawrenceville location. My appointment time started at 2:45 and I was called back for my appointment within 5 minutes. Every staff member I spoke to was pleasant. The ultrasound tech took her time with making sure she got all the images needed even with my baby moving non stop lol. Both the ultrasound tech and the doctor was very informative and compassionate. I thought I had to drink 32oz of water for my anatomy scan ultrasound but turns out I was wrong, an empty bladder is preferred. I would definitely recommend this location to any expecting woman.
I’ve been trying to make an appointment at the insistence of my OB I’m not high risk, but because I’m plus size they want to do this and even making an appointment is complicated. First they called me at the dentist on 12/22 so they left a message which is fine, nobody is at fault for that and I call them back within 30 minutes and am told that only a specific lady can make appointments and she would call me back within 30 minutes. Nobody ever called me but I figured with the holiday season it would be hard, so I let them call me back. They NEVER called me back and I left several messages. Finally got a hold of them on 1/4 and the receptionist tells me that she has “priority patients that she needs to schedule first” and to wait, and I heard her going over her list and she was saying like, their actual names on the phone with me which is a HUGE red flag. When I expressed frustration with the process, she was rude to me and explained they were understaffed which I do totally understand that and that if “I chose not to answer the phone again, she would try again tomorrow” after I explained I had to get this on the books today due to my career being one where it’s near impossible to get time off for any reason teacher. Overall, very dissatisfied with the practice and I will be letting my OB know too so they do not send patients here for no reason anymore.
I was so scared to come here because of the reviews but I had a great experience. I ended up having 5 appointments during my pregnancy due to being high risk. The most I ever had to wait was about 15 minutes after my appointment time. All the doctors and nurse practitioners I had were very nice and knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my questions which I had a lot of since this is my first pregnancy and the ultrasound techs always tried to get a cute picture of the baby for me when I asked even though they didn’t have to. I could not have been more surprised at how wrong the negative reviews are because all of my appointments went great.
I’ve been here three times and have never had a bad experience. When I had my very first appointment I was informed by the front desk to expect a bit of a wait… it was no problem and the wait was not long at all. Everyone was polite and made me feel welcomed. The ultrasound tech was great. My second appointment was my sonogram for gender ect. That tech was amazing she let me know some info about her as well S her work ethic and what to expect during my visit and approximately how long it would be. My most recent visit I was accompanied by my husband who had questions and though some were silly the tech took her time to answer all of them. Thank you
It's hard to express just how frustrated my wife and I are. We actually enjoy the care and attention of the medical staff very much, but cannot bear to stand the petty attitude and lack of professionalism that the front desk receptionists yes both the latina and African American have displayed at each one of our appointments. Just scheduling an appointment is a nightmare because they constantly put your call on hold in the hopes that you'll get frustrated and hang up. If you do manage to speak to them, the Hispanic one will constantly mispronounce your name in this case my wife's , as if to mock it or somehow make you feel bad about being Hispanic. In addition, during one of our appointments I the husband wanted my mother-in law to come to one of the appointments to be able to see baby. Understandably, due to the covid policy there could only be one family member accompanying the mother in the room, so i asked for a translator or that i may be allowed to switch places with my mother in law at the end of the session in order to communicate any important information to my wife, if they didn't have a translator. The front receptionist pretty much shamed us for not asking for a translator sooner despite the fact that she was fluent in spanish and started raising her voice at everyone in the room including the radiology technician. I was still waiting outside, but could hear the whole commotion from the waiting lobby. Anyway, the nurse finally came and allowed me to come into the room and apologized for the receptionists' behavior and we finished our session without a hiccup. We decided to try to schedule one more appointment due to the friendly nature of the all the medical staff, but quickly changed our minds as we were forced to deal with the same Hispanic receptionists that once again tried to mock us for speaking Spanish-speaking and kept mispronouncing my wife's name a good 10 times out of spite. It's hard to write this review because one, I've been an EMT for 6 years and still work in the Healthcare industry, this is definitely not how you treat people; and two because I'm from a Hispanic background. If you value your time avoid this place at all costs, despite the awesome medical staff... it's not worth dealing with the stress that is caused by the front desk receptionists.
