Was lied to about the delivery options. We were not made aware of the door step delivery. We were not told that it would be delivered in boxes and that we would have to assemble it ourselves. We would of paid the $60 to have it in our house assembled. Now we just have two big boxes sitting in our living room. I would not recommend using Anthony Clark as you sales associate. Then we called costumer service and told them about our issue with delivery. They told us the best that they could do is get someone out in a few days to put it together and still charge us the $60. We have been a costumer for 21 years at Mathis brothers. It’s nice to know they do not really care about their returning customers. This is the worst delivery we have had from Mathis brothers.
I loved the the salesman we had. His name is Carey!! He did a excellent job in helping us . This is the beautiful bedroom set we purchased minus the bench, we got everything you see here and it looks so beautiful in our bedroom!! I'd recommend going here to find furniture for your house. Sidenote the vanity is lovely thay comes with this set
Had a great experience with Mathis! The people were helpful and the delivery was efficient. Joyce was very kind. Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because of how long I had to wait to pay. Their system was down, which I understand! I just didn’t feel like I was prioritized as a customer at that time. Waited for at least 15 minutes with no communication.
Chris Humphrey is incredible! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to any questions or requests. He went out of his way to provide excellent customer service with a personal touch. He makes you feel like you are shopping with family. Financing and delivery were very easy and met our needs. Thanks Chris for your time and being a great asset for Mathis Brothers!
Have you looked into the new furniture store Living Spaces? I was also lied to about delivery options as mentioned in other reviews. Signed up for the membership last September, went in June to buy furniture and they charged us for delivery which was supposed to be covered by the membership. Called that day to cancel our membership, since it wasn't what they advertised. Saturday, 9-16-2023, they charged our account $139 for the membership that was cancelled and not what was advertised. Oh and a week after we ordered the couches, we hadn't gotten a call about the promised delivery that day, we called them and they said the couches wouldn't even be in stock until mid July.
We were really just going to look at recliners but when we found exactly what we wanted at a very nice price, we could not let those chairs go! We actually asked questions of the nearest salesman who kept Trying to leave us so we could Look around but we kept after him and he was just so kind and accommodating! No pressure, just information. It was a good day!
Just had a great experience at Mathis Brothers. My salesman Kent Rodriguez in the mattress department was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the different mattresses. I would highly recommend dealing with Kent if you are looking for a mattress.
We love Mathis Brothers. Always very helpful and gives us our space when trying to make a decision. We bought the Cape Cod bedroom suite in black.
While I’m actually having a lot of issues with Mathis Brothers on a warranty issue and on a delivery issue, I have had the most amazing help from a salesman who helped me look at dining room tables. Carey Kirby is awesome and the best salesman I have ever had there. He isn’t pushy and he does a great job of responding to my texts. I really recommend requesting him and I regret buying anything from Mathis Brothers online. If I had known Carey before placing an online order I would have used him. He is great!!
I want to thank Mark Allen for his exceptional help in assisting me with an adjustable bed purchase for my elderly father. Mark displayed very attentive patience with all of my questions I had. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of them. I came to mathis outlet after a terrible experience at a nearby furniture store, so you can imagine how happy I was to get a salesperson as great as Mark! Thank you!
