I always have a lunch here because I have only one hour break and it’s near my work place. They prepare and cook food very fast even if they have a lot of customer. And the food is very fresh and delicious. Nice customer service and nice environment too.Recommended dishesEdamame, Bento, Miso Soup, Sashimi, Lunch Sushi Special, Roll, Kani Salad, Shrimp Tempura

Our best secret sushi place. A gem for quality but cheap sushi. Go on Saturday for all day Happy hour menu, $1/piece sushi/sashimi Update: One of the first stop since we came back from France, just couldn’t help it. One of the nicest staffs in the whole wide world. Hands down one of the best sushi places I’ve had!!

Small sushi spot nestled in a shopping strip off Eldridge. Surprisingly, they offered a all day happy hour on Saturday, which is very uncommon. The menu was pretty typical for a sushi restaurant. The food was good, my favorite was the spicy chopped scallops and the tuna tartare. Service was ok. Ambience was kind of weird. Water served was straight from the sink, it was gross. I suggest ordering bottled water or sparkling. Overall, first and last time trying this place.

Really great spot! Food was great for the most part. Got two appetizers and plenty of sushi for about $25.00. The appetizers were the Kani Salad and Salmon skin seaweed salad. The Kani salad tasted very fresh and the Masago adds a hint of crunching. The salmon skin seaweed salad was crunchy with chewy seaweed. The sauce was tangy and delicious. The sushi was great! Costed about $1.50 to $1.75 per piece. Fish was fresh and came in decent size. The squid was chewy with a hint of sweetness. The salmon and white tuna were fatty in a good way. Only complaint is that rice felt a bit clumped and mushy. Could work on getting better rice texture. Service was great! Waiters came regularly to make sure we were doing alrite. Restaurant is a bit small, but comfortable enough to be able to enjoy. Come during happy hour for best deals! Vegetarian options: Edamame and Tempura vegetables. Parking: Open and easily accessible.

One of the best sushi I try, I love how the servers talk with the costumers, every one feel like they are in home, food is great and the prices better.

Matsu Sushi is an amazing traditional style sushi experience. Affordably priced, friendly staffed, and clean fresh vibrant sushi. Definitely my Favorite Spot for those sushi cravings.
