The reviews aren’t lying. They’ve definitely gone down hill. Yeah your food is made fresh but they don’t cook the fries all the way and leave your fish/shrimp dripping with grease. Good customer service but extremely disappointed. I won’t be returning OH & i found poop in my shrimp.

The fish and oysters are so good. I bring my ice chest along and drive it back Vegas and feast. The staff is very helpful and nice. Thxs

Matt's fish market has been around for ages . There fish to me is mid average . Prices are ok and the location is not the best and parking in the rear very small maybe three cars. Use to be heavy foot traffic not anymore always empty .I miss the days when you can go in these fish markets and you see some brothers cooking lol nine time out of ten you know it's gonna be fire and the sides are gonna be cool because Betty done put her foot in it lo l no shade to anybody .

This is always my go to place for me. I order the catfish but I prefer Buffalo and wish they had more of that, but I can say that every time I go, the fish is always cooked right and seasoned well.

I got some fish from Matt's fish market. And it was terrible, had a smell to it. And the taste was awful forty dollars down the drain. Gave it 2 stars only because it was fried

Matt’s I’ve been coming for a while it usually is a hit or miss. Today the food was seasonless atleast that’s how it tasted. Might try my luck shopping around for a new fish place.

Food is fresh!! They follow your requests. I like to order my fillet of sole fried medium, they gave it to me like I ordered it! If you ordered enough fish they give you a small bottle of hot sauce. They do not accept EBT benefits. Cash or debit only. **Update: They will charge you extra to fry your fish if you choose to order your fish by the pound. Sounds unfair Just because you don't order a meal, they make you pay more.

Overall the fish was kind of small compared to what I'm normally getting from my normal fish market and a little lacking in flavor but honestly you can't beat their prices quality overall isn't bad it will always be my go-to fish market when I'm too lazy to go to Broadway and Imperial. Today, 08/26/23, much better. Back to, I'd say about 90% as far as food, taste, and quality still a little oily but better flavor today than my last visit
