Maumee Scout Reservation is the main camping property owned by the Hoosier Trails Council. Maumee covers over 640 acres surrounding Lake Tarzian and is settled right it the middle of the Hoosier National Forrest. We offer weekend and long term camping.

Great place to camp and experience Scouts.
It's woody, grassy, and comes with an outdoor water area and bugs and insects and birds and other unforeseen stuff.
I spent several summers here as a kid. I absolutely love this place, and miss camping here. Lots of great memories made, and tons of skills learned. If your Scout is trying to go, do whatever you can to get them there. It's a valuable life experience that they'll never forget.
This has been a great place for our son to learn new things. It is a great vacation for my husband and I.Took our Scout's boys and girls to camp. Pray the weather holds out an they see only rain at night.
Maumee scout reservation is a calm peaceful environment with plenty to do. The staff there is amazing, and although they are smaller than Randsburg, the quality of the product and staff is simply insurmountable. It is a great place for families and Scouts alike your form memories lyrics that are irreplaceable and that will never leave you.
