My first time eating here and it was delicious! I ordered the pulled pork plate with hash and rice and potato salad The plate came with hush puppies and roll Everything was amazing!! I’m not from the area so not sure when I’ll be back but if I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely be eating here
The mustard BBQ sauce was not my favorite. The ribs were over cooked. Served room temp. The turkey was very good. I did like the collards. Hushpuppies were great. The lady that took the order was not super friendly. Not real interested in taking our order. I am glad the lady that delivered the food made up for it. That is the only reason service got a decent score. She was great.
Excellent BBQ. Their mustard sauce is probably my favorite. The price is VERY fair for the food received. Nice large portions. THe service is efficient and friendly too! The sides are just as delicious as the BBQ. I LOVE their hushpuppies. Also, don't sleep on the hot dog + chili and pimento cheese! Yum! Piggy Park is always on the list for a meal when we visit Columbia! You can also get any of their BBQ to-go in larger quantities! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp in the front with 3-4 handicap placard parking spots.
loved the decor! the pork was most delicious! the sides were not. we should have just ordered to pulled pork sandwiches- we ordered two plates so it comes with 2 sides; and 2 sweet teas - $45 - do not understand. but it is all good. when we return just the sandwiches…
Absolutely a terrible food experience. The ribs were good. They had a good smoke flavor, but the sauce wasn’t a good pick for the ribs. I don’t think but the pulled pork no smoke flavor at all, and absolutely terrible. Most pulled pork has some pink ends or some smoke flavor but totally lacking . The hash had a bad burnt taste, and the beans tasted like they were out of a can and not even a good can. I couldn’t even eat it
Excellent barbecue at a reasonable price. They have a very efficient setup here too. You walk in, order at the counter, get a number and wait for your food to be delivered. As an alternative, they also have a drive through as well. The staff is super friendly and the BBQ is awesome! I especially like the mustard sauce they used on the ribs. Parking: A ton of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible wheelchair ramp at the main entrance
We sure enjoyed our lunch stop. Be sure to try barbecue and fried chicken .sweet potato cobbler was delicious.Food: 5/5
Bought a Lil Joe basket about 30 minutes before closing. I asked for onion rings to be substituted for the coleslaw. The BBQ sandwich was good and hot as the fries were also which was why it took a while to get. That was ok. The onion rings were awful. They were not golden brown, but salty brown. I think someone double seasoned the batter or was rushing to get off. Those onion rings were as salty as cured ham! Actually worse and looked bad. I took all the batter off and just ate the onion. I was disappointed. Should have not gotten the substitution. My extra money wasted. Pleasant guy at the window.
Extremely disappointed. I had expected more. Mac and cheese tasted old, the ribs were tough as nails and the brisket wasn’t the greatest either. Fries and chicken tenders were good. Spent longer making this review the eating the food
That food was so good I bought extra puree for rice and took it to my friends out of state, who also loved it! Yum!! Highly recommended! The desert was served too scorched to eat, but it was refunded. Everything else was great. That poor manager needs an assistant! She was openly snapping at employees left and right that they needed to wait, like a rubber band pulled too tight. She was nice enough to external customers, but definitely on edge.
