Great school, have been here for 7 years with all my 4 kids and never have had any issues. The teachers and staff are all very sweet and caring. Volunteering is easy and fun and always welcomed. Love Wolfe Stars!!
I went to this elementary school in the 1950s when it was still "Addicks Elementary School." Mr. Wolfe was the principal. In fact, he had been the SUPERINTENDENT of ADDICKS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT before it "merged" into Katy ISD. Maurice Wolfe was a wonderful school administrator and even finer man. Go Wolfe Lobos! Because I had a solid academic foundation at Addicks Elem, I subsequently completed bachelor's and master's degrees at Texas A&M University, and a doctorate at Iowa State University. After being a faculty member at ISU for several years, I returned to TAMU, and I've been a faculty member here for 38 years and counting. I returned to Addicks Elementary in the early 1980s when the school was renamed in honor of Mr. Wolfe. I hope that the school continues to hold up the high ideals--with a rigorous, relevant curriculum that develops RELATIONSHIPS the new three Rs in education--rigor, relevance, relationships among students, faculty, administrators, parents, community members, and the larger Houston/Katy space.
Staff is friendly, teachers are like family, i feel very comfortable
