Came across this restaurant while looking for someplace good to eat while our kid and her friends were at busch gardens. I love Italian food. Everything was great. Ate way to much. The place was neat and everyone was super nice.Food: 5/5
Delicious Italian food while on our visit to Williamsburg! The pasta was fresh & marinara sauce was tasty! Warm bread was served prior to ordering. The staff was very friendly and accommodative of our dietary needs!
I really like this restaurant, close to Busch Gardens and relatively lose to the interstate for folks like me that drive from one of the neighboring communities. A reasonably-priced wine selection, Alongside the traditional fare are Italian dishes you won't find elsewhere. While located in a strip mall, flanked by other restaurants, once inside, you are in a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Really good food, the waiters are professional. The food is really good. I would definitely recommend Papa's combo, and the Italian margarita was fenominal. The bread rolls were also another item to try they make them really good.Food: 5/5
My fiancé and I have eaten here for years due to consistent high quality food and service. The atmosphere and staff are always lovely and very professional. The dishes my fiancé and I ordered were so delicious. They always accommodate any alternative to a dish and execute it with perfection. The dish I ate today capellini pasta with vodka sauce, sun dried tomatoes, and spinachwas more than delicious, it made me feel loved and warm inside. It took me back to my childhood and reminded me of when my grandmother used to cook for me. Even though they make you feel at right at home they give a beautiful authentic taste of Italy. Vegetarian options: They offer an entire vegetarian section.
Fresh pasta! Fresh Pasta! FRESH PASTA!! Did you hear me? Yes, fresh pasta is key. This place takes pride in their cooking. The pasta was perfect and check out the Ginormous Mozzarella Logs! We were able to pick out our type of pasta however they had the dish presented on the menu. Talk about custom! We loved it and it was priced pretty fair. You want Italian, go to Maurizio’s!
EXCELLENT DINNER Food - Fantastic! Service David - Outstanding! Atmosphere - Enjoyable! Such a great dinner last night. Both entrees were delicious. Homemade sausage is a star! David was happy to brew a fresh pot of decaf coffee for an after-dinner drink even though it was close to closing time. I wish we lived close by so we could return again and again.
While visiting Busch Gardens, my family and I decided to try out Maurizio's based on the good reviews. I would agree with the overall good reviews. It was a beautiful evening so we ate outside, which was very nice. The service was excellent, and the food was good except for the fried ravioli; it was dry and flavorless. I won't use that against them because we really did have a nice evening, and the pasta was fresh, you can taste it. I'd suggest if you're a Williamsburg, VA local or visiting, to give it a shot. Enjoy!
