Max's Fanno Creek Brew Pub

This is a restaurant in Tigard, Oregon. The food is standard pub fare. We went as a family of 4, with 2 adults and 2 mature teenagers. Surprisingly, the restaurant has positive reviews; however, they are not deserved. A couple of positive comments first. The restaurant is dog friendly outside. Also, it is located on a cute street. The food and service, though, were not good. The strawberry crepes were made with old strawberries, not fresh. The Reuben sandwich lacked flavor and the cooks were skimpy on the meat. It was served with a plastic container with crusty, old mustard. The blackened mahi salad was plain and the fish was burnt. The chicken Caesar wrap also lacked flavor. We're so sad that we followed the reviews here. They were wrong. As we were lamenting our decision to eat at Max Fanno's, a man and woman who ate at the restaurant walked past our table and said aloud to each other, "that was not good." We all laughed aloud because we were thinking the exact same thing. There are too many other options for us to ever return to Max Fanno's.

Had a good time nice patio out front. Very spacious inside and family friendly. Food was fantastic for what we tried, and a good in house beer selection. Staff was friendly and attentive. The price was a shock but I guess that is what we get with such a high minimum wage. Pet friendly on the patio.

Really good grilled chicken with my salad. The seasoning was amazing! Loved the list of beers and their names. Love that there is indoor and outdoor seating. Def will be back to this place. A fun little place to just relax, grab a drink, and a bite to eat.

Nice local eatery and brew pub with very friendly and attentive staff. Really good burgers and a nice selection of in-house brewed beers. Large open minimalist decor great for office groups, parties, or a casual dinner out.

Today is 2/6/2021. I had the B.L.T.T.A I ate it up before I could take a picture. The bread was toasted and crunchy with a buttery flavor. The avocado was ripe, bacon was crisp, over all really delicious. The coffee was to my liking, not bitter at all. I was hesitant to sit outside but the table had its own heater and I was very warm. I all if the servers were pleasant to interact with and charming.

A nice place with a lot of outdoor seating. A friendly, open atmosphere on the inside. The food was excellent, though a bit spendy. A blue cheese burger with tots and ice tea came to $19.50. It was good, but not quite THAT good. Try it out and decide for yourself. No complaints about the wait staff, they were adequate.

Update: The response of the owner was just as abysmal as the poor service their employees provide. With the over 200 breweries in the Portland Metro area, there are 199 others that are superior. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. My husband and I dined here yesterday afternoon. The food is good, however the service was atrocious. We sat outside and the meal started off fine. I ordered the Cadillac margarita and he ordered a beer. Once the drinks came we ordered food - grilled chicken club for him and pub burger for me. This is when the experience took a different turn. I'm not sure if we were sitting at an invisible table or what occurred. I asked our server for water twice, no water ever arrived. When the food runner brought our food close to an hour after we ordered it, I asked for water for a third time along with the sauce I ordered with my meal. No apology... Just an excuse of how busy they were. I get it, restrictions are lifted for indoor dining and you need to get back in your flow but this shouldnt come at the cost of losing customers. After I complained to the food runner about asking for water twice prior he walked by our table several times when my husband was trying to get his attention to ask for the check. He refused to make eye contact. The staff at this location may need a crash course on what it means to provide a positive customer dining experience. I lost count of how many times restaurant staff walked past our empty drink glasses, not once stopping to ask if we wanted another round. Again, the food was decent even though my burger was way overdone - I never understand establishments who ask how you want it done and still send it out well done anyways. We won't be back.

Pretty good breakfast. I should have gotten the strawberry crepes! Been back several times. Really good atmosphere. The huevos rancheros were amazing. Hoppy hummus a tasty appetizer.

Great place to grab a bite. Good food & brews. You can request a beer sample if unsure. Go shopping nearby or go on the trail then stop by and relax and enjoy with a clean family atmosphere. Nice staff to help you decide. Street parking is usually available.

Feel good seat yourself environment with something on the menu for everyone. Burritos, fish and chips, pasta, pizza, burgers, BBQ, and sweets... Not to mention some tasty brewskis!!
