This is a racist and rude insurance company. The owner Stanley Maxey referenced us to monkeys in a zoo and I am an African American woman. I was not rude and constantly got hung up in the face when I was only trying to get an insurance quote for a vehicle. Terrible customer service. I would not recommend anyone to purchase anything from them at all.
Very unprofessional company. I called for a quote and was greeted in a very rude and nasty manner. I’m not sure who I was even speaking to, but I hung right up on her. I know I may sound young, but I’m a grown woman! If you cannot speak to me in a respectful manner, you will not have me as a customer! Do better with your customer service!
This company is cheap for a reason. I had an issue with processing a patient and the staff was rude and lacked Rory to truly assist me, so I asked to speak to a supervisor who I guess is the owner of the company and he was just as rude so done I got no where with him we exchanged words and he hung up that weekend I was pulled over immediately and my car was towed and I reserved a ticket for failure to pay insurance. It all seemed odd to me since it happened so quickly. I wouldn’t trust dealing with this company thru an insurance like a car wreck. This family owned company can serve up an attitude and you’re left with the end of the stick. Poor attitudes and no one to hold them accountable.
The worst experience ever! I had a vehicle side swipe me and it took 6 weeks for my vehicle to get fixed due to the fact I had to wait for their adjuster to send information to collision shop on 3 separate occasions! He left the office early while he was supposed to be sending info to collision shop. I had to pay 2400 for a rental because of their procrastination! And their insurance isn't even on the list of aot of major and minor collision shops....that says a lot! Overpriced and unprofessional! Run fat away from them!
Trash customer service. I tried getting insurance with them and they act like they don't want my money. I've been insured with them for like 6 months and unfortunately my insurance lapsed and I was unaware and wanted to get a new policy but she denied me. I've never went to any insurance provider and they say they can't start a new policy.
Rude! Rude! Rude. I WAS a customer for 4 years until the new receptionist started answering the phone. She is super rude. Took my business elsewhere after 4 years of getting my great progressive insurance from them. I'm with Farmers now in Older Town they talk to you on the phone with dignity and respect. Like a professional agency is supposed to treat their loyal customers. I'm super happy at Farmers now!
I have used this company for 30 years - always get the lowest rate with them! I have never found insurance cheaper anywhere else! And the staff here is AWESOME!! Would recommend them to everyone - thanks for your service through the years - it has been & continues to be my pleasure! Bonnie
Words cannot express the way that the staff at Maxey Insurance takes care of their clients. I have been doing business with Maxey for years and I simply love the promptness, professionalism, and excellent customer service that each agent gives. They are always accommodating and will do whatever they can to assist. Love you guys!
Yes this company treats u like family if you are the RightWhite kind of family. Unless u agree with that mentality than u should find insurance elsewhere. They took me back to the 1800 with just trying to get an auto insurance quote.
I've been insured with them Time and Time throughout the past 15 to 20 years the agent is very very pleasant kind and informative and professional
