Maxi's Chinese Restaurant

It's okay. Food was what you'd expect. Lots of parking. They serve lunch specials until 3pm. I may try again down the road. Service was lacking but could be short staffed. No one came to seat people. You have to track down a staff member in the back.

Overall we had a good experience. Mostly all the items on the menu are family style. The egg Foo Yung is a really good vegetarian option and the gravy is quite yummy. The general tso chicken comes with a lot of crunchy and yummy vegetables. The. Medium spice option isn't spicy at all. Sweet and sour chicken is really good since it comes with pineapple pieces. The vegetable fried rice is average. We were sat immediately but it took a while for food to come out. Good service tho so we were okay with it : . We come to this restaurant about once a month and service can be hit or miss

Four stars for the vibe of the restaurant. Staff is welcoming and they engage with the customers. Fun restaurant to hang out with friends and have a few drinks or sing karaoke. I’m used to authentic Chinese food so the food is honestly too Americanized to me. The quality and authenticity of food could use some improvement. Regardless, there really aren’t many options in Marysville for Chinese food. This restaurant has been around for a long time so it’s always nice to support a local business.

Hands down the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I don’t even know how fried rice ends up as just mush but none of the food in the combo was good at all. Even the fortune cookies was terrible and I’m not exaggerating. Go somewhere else, this place is terrible. The reviews are correct. Pork fried rice had no pork in it or anything else. Was just rice. The wonton soup, was literally 1 single wonton in a small bowl of basically salt water. I’m honestly shocked at how bad the food was.

I had the shrimp fried rice. It was so delicious . The staff are very friendly and the owner is nice too! I also enjoy the karaoke with Clay, who's the best host ever! Great friendly atmosphere .

Excellent service and a fine menu made a great meal. Wonton soup excellent as was my Seafood Imperial main course. Easy access from State as well as 100th street. We will be back whenever we are hungry in the area. Extensive meal options include a number of new items for us and likely for most other visitors. Been going to this restaurant since I was 12 years old, if anything the food has only gotten better. Its a reliable menu of the classics along with yummy new dishes to try. Everything on the menu is delish! But my oerson favorites are: Fried Won Tons w/ sweetnsour sauce, almond chicken gravy is amazing, sechwan beef, and orange chicken! Thank you Maxi's for 30 years of absolutely delicious food and great service!

Overall the food was alright. My mom had to send her plate back as she requested no gravy and it had it on there. We had to ask several times for soy sauce, sweet and sour and hot mustard. We also didnt get our egg flower soup till our dinner was served. On the plaus side the soup was the best part. Very good flavor, nice and thick and just delicious. I would like to note that the place was extremely busy and I do believe they were short handed because I noticed a couple signs posted looking for help.

Always impressed with the food. The hot and sour soup is consistently awesome. Maxi's is very generous with their portions. I have never been disappointed with their food. Even the condiments are good quality and generously added. I highly recommend Maxi's Restaurant.

Had delivery with uber eats wonderful. The food came hot and delicious. I had heard about Maxis I finally got to try it. If you like Chinese food you have to try here lots of food.
