Description

Maxim provides a variety of services to people of all ages but we specialize in Private Duty Nursing (PDN).
PDN refers to long-term comprehensive hourly nursing care within the home (typically four to twenty-four hours per day). Nurses such as Registered Nurses (RNS) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide nursing care that is deisgned to meet your or your loved one's specific needs.
A team of healthcare professionals including homecare nurses, clinical supervisors, and physicians will provide a full spectrum of care in coordination with the physician's plan to ensure that as you or your loved one's medical needs change, services can change with them.

This has been one of the worst agencies that I have try to work for. Candace Grant has been to absolutely worse she did not respond back to emails she did not leave a contact number my start date had to be pushed back due to her not doing her job which I think is totally unfair I do not recommend working here at all.
The ABSOLUTE WORST agency I have EVER encountered in my nursing experience. After multiple attempts to reach Michael Layman manager in the Independence, OH office via telephone probably about 10 different times throughout the month of May, Brianawhoever she is always responds with "he's on the phone, I'll have him call you back"...EVERY SINGLE TIME! He's conveniently on the phone every time I call, never dealt with this level of unprofessionalism in my career. Steer clear of Mitchell the recruiter in Independence, OH, he does NOT know what he's doing. Employee relations still has not responded to any emails or voicemails over the past couple of weeks. Sat on hold for 20 minutes this morning and no one ever answered the phone. My contract was canceled, never notified by Maxim but by the nurse manager of the unit I worked on. Never given any final instructions, haven't been able to reach anyone I requested to speak with. Maxim has too big of a platform to treat their nurses this way. Just avoid this company period! Run nursing professionals, RUN!
Do not work for Maxim, Indianapolis, IN. Alexander Walsh, recruiter has accused me of not returning a key when I left employment, which I did return the key. Mr. Walsh sent me a threatening letter accusing me of keeping the key and threatened me with the police and BON. The letter Mr. Walsh sent me and I can provide said letter, did not go through Corporate or Maxim's legal department. I am a well respected RN, BSN with 26 years of nursing experience and have turned said letter over to an employment attorney in Indianapolis, IN. I will not be bullied or harassed by Mr Walsh and will never work for this company again.
I am an RN with with 30 years experience . I have worked with Maxim on and off for years . I’ve had some great recruiters , Patrick H. And , Spencer K. I have also been bullied by several out of NC and Atlanta .. Praying , for them . I reached out to Corporate Integrity hotline in 2020 . And , was told issues were resolved . How , very disappointing they were apparently not . I had a submission to a job by an awesome recruiter Nathan W. Email , sent with Confirmation and everything. Only , to be called later to say , they Had two profiles built on me he didn’t know why ? Bless his heart , I know he had no control over it .Going , back through my emails and screen shots over the last two years and reports to Corporate and Their integrity hotline ! It’s obvious a recruiter , had me blacklisted excuse me 2-3 on a contract they forced on me that wasn’t what it was when I got there . And , I will gladly post the screen shots . Also , it has been pure retaliation and blacklisting for me not doing what they wanted : . Pray for crooked . God , has his hands on them too:! Run , as fast as you can . And , do not even try to resolve with HR or Integrity line. Because , healthcare employees mean nothing !! It’s all about higher ups and Recruiters . Respectfully, Sincerely , Julie
Health care workers were treated nice, unfortunately the department was closed.
Working for company and got injured. Can't get a reply from my wc coordinator. Been off of work for 3wks. O response from wc coordinator. This is not the way to treat your employees.
This place is a joke can not speak to an HR department they never filled out my unemployment paper work which is fraud. I have called several times no-one seems to knows anything.
We do training on line for code of conduct The staff needs training on code of conduct and how to talk to people on the phone. Very unprofessional.
