Clyde and his family are wonderful people nice people I always love going here to get fishing hunting and trapping archery supplies I highly recommend them!

I like this spot. I always get treated well. I call ahead when I want goldfish because everyone comes here for them when fishing and they can get picked over. Great selection of hunting supplies, fishing tackle, guns, bait, and rain gear.

If you live in Crooksville, Malta, McConnellsville, Morgan county, Perry county, New Lexington, or Somerset then you are close to a good thing! This place has cold and pop in the drive-thru, and nightcrawlers, revolvers, shotguns, AR-15s, and a decent assortment of ammunition behind the counter All priced pretty fairly. Haven't bought any firearms from Maxwell's yet just because I tend to flock toward the bigger heavier harder hitting 7.62x39 or 308 AR-47s and AR-10s but I have used them as my FFL four times now and every single time they treat me like family. I told him if they get some bigger AR-10s in stock then we can do some business or maybe an AR -10 in 450 Bushmaster and go balls to the wall lol. But honestly, these guys love God guns and freedom and serve it all up to the good people of McConnellsville on the daily basis. I totally 100% recommend stopping into Maxwell's hunting and fishing whether you're looking for a lure or a new boom stick you truly will not be let down by these guys. The owner is an absolute boss and treats his employees like family hell he'd even treat newbies like family. Stop on in and see.

Not a huge place. But they have everything you need to hunt. Even if they don’t have exactly what your looking for they have something of the same quality or better. Good place for all hunting, fishing, and clothing needs. Something that’s rare to find is their staff is very knowledgeable about items. They can compare & contrast really well to the exact thing you might be looking for.

Love this hole in the wall hunting and fishing store. Has everything from apparel like clothes and muck boots to amo and reels.
