Good place with very tasty meal. The ribs and seafood were perfect. All of my family 10 people were surprised how well they cooked. It was our first time there and I really recommended visiting this place to eat. The waiter was nice and carefully. Thank you for your service. Parking: No problem with parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Barrier-free entry.
Charley and his staff truly have a great place to be proud of as I sat at the chefs table by the kitchen and it was like watching poetry in motion. It is a culinary experience.Food: 5/5
We waited an hour for our food without any updates from the waitresses. One of the cooks served the food and apologized but wished they were better at communicating. After we got our food, one of the waitresses came and said to my kids…are you guys feeling better now? Like not a very good comment. The food was good but it wasn’t worth an hour of waiting especially if you have kids.
I ordered the lamb shank and it was cooked to perfection! My friends ordered the veal chop and another ordered the pork chop and both were very happy with their order. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!Food: 5/5
Have always heard it was amazing, but driving by it looks a bit unassuming. Step through the door to find a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and food to match. You won’t regret this one. Make a reservation though!Food: 5/5
A continuation of our quest to try all of the restaurants in our new home town has landed us at May River Grill......twice. I can't believe we went back a second time before going to the next place on our list but, we had to take our friends who are also newcomers to the area. What you will find at May River is a great vibe, top notch service and really good food. When you can see into the kitchen you know that things are gong to be done right. I have enjoyed both the lamb and crispy duck and did not have an issue with either of them. OK, maybe the vegetables could have a bit more life to them but in all honesty, my dietary restrictions only allow me to have the vegetables. That won't keep me away. The hostess and servers are super friendly and on both trips, proved to be attentive and welcoming. We really enjoyed both evenings here and plan to make this a regular stop.
Great food. Great service. I knew what I wanted but then I saw the specials. They had triple tail that was delicious and so good it didn't need sauce but the sauce and daufuski crab elevated itFood: 5/5
Best meal-at least so far-that we have had while visiting 3 times nowBluffton, SC. The local snapperone of the specials was cooked perfectly and was a much larger portion than expected. The baby back ribs were SUPER tender. They practically melted in our mouths and the sauce was yummy, messy and finger licking good. All vegetables were good, too. Sadly, we were too full to enjoy a dessert but will return to do so.
Had a bug crawl out from under my stuffed flounder tonight! YUCK!!!!!! No apologies or anything just a we will take the fish off the bill. First and last time I will eat there.BEWARE!!!!!Food: 1/5
We went thier last night for a early dinner. We ordered appetizers which was fine. then the entrees, which only one was good.. the pork chop. The other three seafood dishes were not good. Expensive for the portions we got. Will not be returning back to that restaurant.
