Fantastic experience! So proud and blessed to have such an awesome drive-in theater right here in Geauga County! The night started in the best possible way with our beautiful National Anthem!
This is a great experience to have again. Rather, it's a family outing or an intimate experience. You would love visiting this location, the polite and helpful employees, and just the nostalgia of going to the drive-in
This was a fun experience and I would definitely do it again. Bring your own radio and blankets. Definitely pay to bring your own food because the boxed candy is $6 and a water is $5 popcorn was $12.
Truly a wonderful gem to still have this drive in around. We've been going here for well over 20 years. I love the prices and that you can bring your own food in for a small fee. Drive Ins make a large portion of their money from concessions so asking for 5 bucks to bring your own isn't bad in my opinion. Quality of the films is great.
It's been awhile since we went to a drive in and it was a disappointment. The biggest issue is the number of suvs with their hatch open during the movie. Even though they are instructed to lower them so they are even with the roof no one did. If you get stuck behind someone with a hatch open good luck seeing the movie. The food was over priced and gave us both a case of diareha the next morning. We will not be going here again.
Our family loves this drive-in. The staff is great, concession food is good and the grassy area up front and in the rows give great areas to sit and enjoy the movie. We also appreciate the reserve your spot option on their website.
I have spent $70 at this place and seen no one movie past 30 mins. It is not made clear enough on their website that you have to bring your own radio to hear the movie enough to captivate you. If you use your car you're going to have to turn it on and off so that your battery doesn't die especially on a double feature. They charge you $10 if you're bringing your own food in which is understandable. When I was a kid the the drive-ins had wired speakers and everybody could hear the movies great. Bring an FM radio and not hearing your movie in proper stereo sucks. The first time I went up there the lady only refunded me $5 of my 35$ in the movie hadn't even started she acted like she was doing me a favor. And since they don't take debit cards I had to turn around and get cash real quick then come back, then hooked up my FM radio which kept having a delay with the audio, the movie was unwatchable I didn't even ask to get my money back. I would be speculating to say that the reason for not using wired speakers is because the cost to maintain them. But that doesn't matter cuz I will not be returning. This is only the third or fourth bad review I've ever written I'm not a negative person it's just ridiculous that I spent $65 on movies and didn't get to see one.
Absolutely insane that you can pay 10 extra dollars to get tickets ahead of time, and still be stuck out of the movie for the first 30 minutes because they are too slow. Puts a bit of a damper on the whole experience Mind you, we showed up 20 minutes ahead. We love this theater. But obviously logistically they need to reorganize
This movie theater could be so much better but service speed is awful. Waited 50 mins to get into theater and missed first 10 mins. The reason the line was so long is because the entrance system is idiotic. You are given a barcode when you buy online which you would think would speed things up, but they don’t use the barcode. They literally look up your name on a printed out sheet of paper… I was timing cars and it took 1-2 minutes per car for a system that should take seconds for anyone who pre bought. All pre bought tickets should be given a separate line. Just a terrible system means I can’t get if more than 1 star.
While the idea of a drive in movie is wonderful and the value of 2 movies for price of one is great, the concessions are a rip off. I under that you can buy a food voucher to bring your own food in, but even if I didn't bring my own snacks the prices are RIDICULOUS! $3 for a banana and $8 for 3 chicken tenders the size of my pinky is a rip off! Prices are typically high in a regular theater, but, even their prices are more affordable.
