The Maysville cemetery is one of the undiscovered gems of this community. Want a quiet place to walk, ride a bike with the kids, or just take in the scene and contemplate the meaning of life—look no further. Kevin and his crew keep the cemetery looking spiffy, no easy task with for a property so large and with such a diverse array of graves of varying ages and conditions to work around. In May, if you haven’t walked through the cemetery when the peony’s are blooming, you have really missed something special. I’ve had people in Maysville since the late 1700’s and many of my people are here not that early, tho and it makes me feel connected to my roots snd my heritage to spend time here with the dead. I am very appreciative of the beauty, serenity, and peace of this place and thankful to the crew and the city who tend it with such TLC.
Have many family members there and I go through just to remember them and keep them fresh in my memories
