Best meal we've had in ages. We had the mazaar feast and it was exceptional. On point portioning, fresh and flavourful, perfectly cooked meat from chicken to beef. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Smoothest most balanced humus I've tasted. We will definitely rave and return!
We were very happy Mazaar could accommodate us on a Saturday night we called for a last minute reservation and selected a table inside. We had plenty of options for gluten free and dairy free. The food was excellent, the service professional. They were very popular this evening.
Food was absolutely delicious! The quality and taste of the meal was so good- the perfect blend of taste, visual and ohhh the scent of those awesome spicesFood: 5/5
The food has me puzzled, the over use of spices and complicated presentation make the food taste more Indian fusion than Lebanese to me. That said food is perfectly cooked and arranged. Service is friendly and efficient, restaurant is clean and always packed. Dispite the 3 star I would highly recommend you give Mazzar a try, this is not your typical middle eastern restaurant.
Food was delicious. Atmosphere is is calm and quiet. Great for a first date, anniversary or celebration. The staff is prompt and conscious of the customers needs.
Positives: -nice presentation -delicious salad -fries were crispy and flavorful -fresh and authentic pitas Negatives: -slow service -staff not very friendly -soup not hot -CURRY ruined several dishes wish made the experience more Indian rather than Lebanese -hard bread shell for cheese sambousek reminiscent of pizza pockets -very expensive
For all my Detroit and Windsor folks, and anyone who visits, @mazaarrestaurant is one of those must have restaurants. Easily top 3 Lebanese restaurants I’ve been to, like ever. Lebanon imported food, all made from scratch, many vegan and gluten free options, tea-light lit ambiance, hookah, nicest staff, the reasons to go are endless.
I’ve been to many Middle Eastern restaurants and recently came here for a New Years Eve party, and there is absolutely nothing about the night I would change. We had a large group with us and the venue was very accommodating. The food was spectacular and the service was excellent. The music and DJ/ band were lovely, engaging and read the crowd vibe very well, making it a night to remember. Highly recommend to go when there is live music if you can!
We brought friends from Philadelphia who have never had Lebanese food, they were blown away! The food was so delicious, as always. Marketa and Karim looked after us, and they were wonderful! They took care of our every need, and were courteous, professional, happy, and knowledgeable! Karim brought us a dessert that was complimentary in honor of our guests! What a fantastic time had by all! Thank u!!
Love the food and love that there are so many gluten-free options! My partner has celiac and has never had a problem eating here. Based only on the food, I would rate Mazaar 4 or 5 stars, but unfortunately every time I go the service is quite slow and inattentive. I'm always waiting forever to get service, whether it be making an order, refilling water, or getting the bill. The only time they are quick is to take away my plate.
