I love a spot with history and even more so when every corner displays a new room with hidden treasures in it. It's fun exploring all the different spaces and little rooms tucked on the side filled with spices and cheese and everything nice. Tampa folks know about this place and it is busy. With good reason because they have all kinds of delectable Italian food. They're prepared food section is delicious which makes it even harder to make a selection. They have the fabulous option of warming up your food and you can eat it on a patio. The bakery takes up an entire side of the store with a coffee bar that is straight out of the '50s movie. Make plans now to go spend a day here and make sure you have enough time to explore all the options.
First time here. Stopped in and had lunch. Hot Italian sub was great. Had a double espresso also great. Store was very busy but fast service. Patio was perfect to eat lunch. Nice and cool. Although I didn’t find the cookies I had in Italy my reason for stopping a man took a picture of them and said he would ask his manager to try to order them.
I lived in the Tampa Bay Area for 30 years and do not know why I didn’t come here sooner. This place is amazing and has the best handmade pasta. I ate the best chicken Parmesan sandwich and enjoyed their delicious pastries. Highly recommended if you love Italian cuisine.
This is the most amazing Italian gourmet shop on the planet! From the imported Italian cheese,wines,olive oils, cold cuts and pastas to the fresh daily made pasta, cheeses and sauces. The staff is just outstanding! Any possible questions you may have they have the answers for you from preparation to origin. Definitely recommend!!!
Gosh was that an experience. My Italian genes were tingling I felt like I was kind of in Italy! The architecture, colors, friendliness is a part of this experience. I got 1 1/2 lbs of Homemade Spinach Ravioli and a bottle of fruity red wine. Total was $30 I am very pleased with this store and really enjoyed the customers eating outside getting fresh air on a nice day. They had a set up where families can hang out and eat. Also another eating diner hall inside. Prices are reasonable for the quality : stop by and see for yourself!
The best market outside of New York, this is the real deal! The food from the deli rivals my Nonna’s. And all the items on the shelf are priced very reasonably. It’s a taste of the Old Country in the Sunshine State! Highly recommended!
Excellent sandwiches , counter meats and cheese. Spicy Italian sausage sandwich was best I have ever had. Wife’s hot Italian sandwich was also excellent. Bread was fresh and ingredients were superb. Busy place but well organized and friendly. Prices were very reasonable
Amazing place with incredible food and drinks. There is a room with wine and cheese, a meat market a coffee shop, a bakery, a deli and more, all under 1 roof! The homemade pasta and sauce is divine! I recommend bringing home the lasagna, a premade pan you just throw in the oven, and you won't regret anything from the bakery!
If you read any reviews that are less than five stars, they are crazy! This place is AWESOME! My Italian wife lost her cannoli when she walked in this place! It is 100% Italian awesomeness, foods, pastas, olive oil, meats... it's endless. Parking out back and to the side. Warning: this place is always busy, always chaotic, niches and corners and stuff everywhere. But the staff have things well in hand! Oh and don't miss the shop next door kitchen stuff, tea - also run by the same folks.
This is the best Italian market I've been to in the U.S. The lobster ravioli is the best. I would go here whenever I feel like having Italian food. Great price, great taste, great service.
