McAlister's Deli

I was just amazed on the customer service I received at this location. We had a death in our family and I went in to get a gallon of tea but they didn't have the correct lids for the gallon jugs. My emotions got the best of me considering our day and they offered to give me 2 large teas at no charge. And to help me feel better they threw in a brownie!! We love McAlister's and go to any we find along our travels and this one by far gave me a smile on my face. Thanks so much for taking care of me today!!

Ordered the Veggie sandwich that was supposed to come with avocado pretty much the centerpiece of a veggie sandwich. Wasn't told they were out of it, they just served it up for nine bucks without it, setting me up for disappointment. I even called afterwards to complain and the manager treated it like nothing and didn't even offer to fix it. I will never forget this experience and will never go back.

I just had to leave a review! I just moved here like 2 months ago and I've had McAlister's twice in the last week. This place is AMAZING! Reasonably priced food, so many options to try and their menu, and really great customer service. Honestly upset I didn't try them sooner, I recommend them to anyone in this town! Just phenomenal food

I ordered a baked potato with sour cream butter and bacon and green onions. They gave me a baked potato that was overdone. The potato peel was about a quarter inch burnt on the inside and a scooped-out have two potato through on chunks of red onion and two slices of bacon. No butter but the iced tea was good... Of course I go there because we have a limited selection here in Macomb Illinois. Today I ordered a cup of roasted vegetable soup and I got more like 3/4 of a cup. Can't remember the sandwich but I think it was turkey on ciabatta I got to say though the tea is delicious, the staff is a little young and they definitely need more training and customer service. But this is the new normal I'm almost becoming accustomed to it

Hannah at McAlister's in Macomb, IL treated me like an honored guest. She was a breath of fresh air after a long drive. The salad and fruit were delicious.Food: 5/5

itd be a five but the speed of service gets a lil slower every time

We went around noon today it is was absolutely terrible! Waited in drive thru for 30+ minutes and they still got our food wrong. Guy at drive-thru thru the food at us and didn't say a single word. Shut the window so fast we didn't even gave time to tell him it was wrong. Sat there again trying to get someone's attention, called multiple times, honked, and they still acted like we weren't there. After finally speaking to the manager, she was VERY rude and unprofessional. She yelled "we a short staffed!" Well maybe if you got the food right the first time we wouldn't need to still be here.

I tried their veggie item yesterday and found they make good sandwiches with variety of toppings. As a Muslim, we need more items. Specifically, fish items could be an option for people like us. Also, there are so many vegan people searching, diverse menus which they can provide, and expand their menu.Food: 4/5

Everything was great, except the dining area was trashed and there was no one cleaning it for quite awhile, meaning customers had to bus and wipe down their own tables if they wanted to eat in. Good to see they are busy though!! Vegetarian options: Creative and good, most of the time.
