45-minute drive, and well worth it. I am almost ashamed to admit I have never been to this place before. The menu was vast, with a lot of good sounding menu choices. I opted for something I would not normally get, but it was outstanding. A thick cut piece of bologna that was not salty and went great with the mustard, fried egg, and the marbled bread. The chicken sandwich was huge and had a great crisp to it. The onion rings and fries were outstanding. I normally do not like pub chips, but these were surprisingly great. The dip that came with chips was outstanding as well. I'm Defentinley looking forward to my neck trip.
Food and wait staff ok, 5 stars no! Music blasted throughout our entire meal. Asked for the Manager 3 times, to at least turn it down a notch or 2, and was completely ignored by the manager, ‍, husband ordered the Walleye, since they were out of perch, tasteless, had to ask multiple times for napkins, and condiments. Just not worth spending hard earned $ at this place...we will never be back, it was an awful atmosphere. and way overpriced food!!!
Dog-friendly outdoor patio. We all got burgers. I like the choice of cheese for the burgers. The chips, tots and fries were all good. I think I liked the tater tots best. The panko-breaded fried pickles were the best we've had anywhere.Food: 5/5
I asked you young woman working at my hotel for a dinner recommendation, and she recommended this place. I arrived, and there was an event going on outside with the street closed, and a live band with lots of people. Not wanting to party, I decided to go inside. It wasn’t super busy with maybe half of the tables full. A young woman carrying a bundle of wrapped silverware seated me, but before I sat down I saw that the table hadn’t been wiped off, so I asked someone to do that. Even after it was wiped off, it wasn’t in the best condition. The finish was coming off, and the surface was still a little sticky. I found the atmosphere to be loud, but I suppose it wasn’t inappropriate for an Irish pub. My server came by and told me that he would be back after he took care of the large table that was nearby, and then if you want. It seemed a long time till he came back, but I think he may have been the only person serving tables. There was another young man milling around, but I think he was the bus boy. I found the menu a little pricey. What isn’t these days? The local perch dinner was $33, but it looks like the best option on the menu. It was served with their homemade potato chips and coleslaw, but I traded out the chips for tater tots. I can’t say I was super impressed. The fish still had the skin on, and it was kind of tough along edges, and everything seemed greasy. The tater tots were the frozen variety, and nothing to write home about. I’ve had far better better perch before. I was hungry and tired, so I ate it. By the time my server made it back to me I was ready for my check. I don’t think I would go back here personally, but I wouldn’t say the place was terrible.
We went here after lunch on Sunday. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. It was all fresh and hot. We tried the Faddy o Brad, large hamburger between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. My wife got the Clucker chicken sandwich and my daughter the chicken wings. If I had one complaint it seemed like all the fried food tasted alittle burnt. Like the oil in the fryer needed changed. Not to big of a deal but its worth noting. And with 3 pops and tip it was $90.00. Not a cheap lunch by any means but I might try it again.
Car bomb burger taste amazing and is literally like an explosion of flavors in my mouth I would 100% recommend to get it. I loved the food and the restaurant itself is so amazing. The service was very good too.Food: 5/5
Best Reuben near Lake erie I have ever had... cucumber long Island was interesting made with cucumber vodka hmmm ... also tator pucks had the best bacon jam I've ever had. They were filled with potatoes and havarti cheese. The potato chips were homemade and delicious. Jimmy wasn't completely impressed with the Buffalo chicken wrap wasn't anything special but still good. The cole slaw was good with the wrap and had great flavor. We will go back again.
Stopped in on a visit to Port Clinton and absolutely loved this place. The food was delicious - highly recommend the Kerry board with the onion cheese - amazing! They have a vegetarian option and incredible Bloody Marys. Our server was Megan was fabulous. Definitely want to return!
Food is excellent atmosphere is very chill.Food: 5/5
Hot damn!!! This place is damn good! Ended up here by accident but what a great accident it turned out to be! Corned beef is quite possibly the best I've ever had, including what I tried in Belfast just a few short months ago. I tried adding a pucturee but can't get it to go thru. Service was not to be outdone, Jazzy was on top of it all night long! I'll be suggesting this spot to family and friends every time I get a chance. Note to mgmt and the kitchen staff, DONT CHANGE ANYTHING!!!! Y'all got your stuff together and it's amazing as is!
