McCoys, in particular our sales rep, Tiffany Putman, has always been on spot and helpful in many ways. She is dedicated to her work and customers. We appreciate that and continue doing business with McCoys with her help.
Went in to get some concrete anchors today. The sticker on the shelf said $1.49 each. I get to the register and the young lady was going to charge me $3.49 each. I told her the sticker price and she said no problem please show me so I did. She then called a manager, some young looking guy. While waiting for him she looked it up in the system using the picture she took of the tag and got yet another price of $2.49. When the manager got there he looked it up and said "they must have changed the price in the system and we didn't get a chance to update sticker yet". I told him he should honor the sticker price and he said he would not. I then told him if he wouldn't honor the sticker price that I would post this review and he said that was fine. He would rather receive a negative review rather than take about a $2 discount because I bought 2??? I know it isn't much money, I just feel it is bad business.
Competitive prices compared to home depot. Small town feel. Less selection than home depot but you can find what you need. Guys in back are eager to load or help you. Something you dont find in big box stores anymore.
Of the four employees working inside I saw at 11:30 on 1/2/2021, only one was wearing a mask as per the state’s requirements. I did not feel comfortable going to a store where the employees have a blatant disregard for the safety of their customers. I enjoy coming here, but will not be coming back if employees are not required to wear masks.
Great people work here. Nothing comes closer to a personal shopper than ANYBODY at McCoy's. If you need to get in and out while working with knowledgeable and kind people, McCoy's does it! Tara Moore and Alan ALWAYS help make things efficient and quick.
Love McCoy's best place to go when you need building supplies. It's a shame to see it close . I can't stand home Depot
They did not have what I was looking for, which is why I rated 4 and not 5. They were very helpful and polite. I went 04/22/2017. Friendly as could be, and gave my daughter endless popcorn....almost worth it right there. Would recommend to others.
I found what I needed eventually. I had a little trouble finding anybody to help me. Overall it's a nice little store
Didn't have the concrete nails , new girl working and was not knowledgeable of products in store.
Employees were very helpful in finding just what we were looking for this trip. Great shopping experience!
