Prices are slightly higher than chain stores, but quality items and excellent service more than make it worth it! Love seeing Dozer and all the animals, which they take good care of as well as the customers. Highly recommend!

These cages are dirty and the animals are dying! Do not give money to this place until they start taking better care of their critters!

I had heard of this place from a few customers and a few coworkers. I went in, expecting to see something like that fish place’s setup with all their reptiles. NOT. EVEN. CLOSE. Snakes were kept in tall tanks with DRY cypress mulch and no clutter. The frogs were kept in small storage bins. The axolotyls were kept in small storage bins, with filthy water, and multiple per bin. The robo hamster was kept in awful pine shavings in a 12” cube tank. The 3 Guinea pigs were all shoved into a 30” cage. The poor Sulcata tortoise that roams the store has metabolic bone disease. The fancy mice had absolutely no food. The uromastyx had no food. The only good thing was the products they sell. The animals are kept in absolutely deplorable conditions! At least That Fish Place takes better care of their animals and seems to genuinely care about their wellbeing I literally was too shocked and disgusted at the care here to even speak the whole time I was here. THIS PLACE NEEDS SHUT DIWN.

Nice small pet supply store which carries a large variety of products for all kinds of pets. The Mgr will special order irems, too. I like supporting local businesses rather than big box stores

Love this place for feeding my many reptiles, birds, invertebrates, rats, dog and cat! I have a tiny zoo basically! Fairly priced, excellent service. They make you feel like family. The CBS oil saved my anxiety ridden rescue dog!!

I'm in the shop almost weekly, it's *that* cool! The employees are very comfortable letting you hold and interact with the animals which makes this pet store unbeatable. There are a wide variety of unusual pets as well, which you typically wouldn't find in the run of the mill store. Wonderful staff, always open to chat, and amazing animals! 10/10 would recommend stopping at this location you will have a great experience.

This place was SO WORTH the drive. We live in Dover Pa but my daughter has recently been on the market looking for Hand raised cockatiels, close enough to us that she could go meet the bird/birds and interact with them and another BIG FACTOR is that we didnt want to spend a small FORTUNE buying one. I gave her a $225 budget and she did the rest. We tried That Pet Place, which i have to say was an Amazing store. We were able to get quite a few toys and accessories for her birds cage there, however we were told by the "bird lady" that we couldnt interact with the birds individual bc of COVID & bc the birds would bite, which contradicted the online description of Hand Raised Birds, so she continued her search and Found McCracken's Pet Food & Supply. This shop is AMAZING, They have a HUGE VARIETY of creatures, critters & aquatic life to pick & choose from or just to look at. I was AMAZED to see so a large variety of WELL CARED FOR, LOVED & MAINTAINED animals at this shop. This place is So MUCH better then the BIG BOX PET SHOPS. If u have any pet or animal needs or are looking to add a new pet member to your family i DEFINITELY RECOMMEND MCCRACKEN'S to you

Loved it. Super cute animals and as far as I know, all in the right environments. I recommend going there for all your E-Town animal needs. Though I have been gping there for years with my nan Dad's Mother and may be bit giving to much credit. Lol

Animals are well maintained and prices are very good with a range for different levels of keepers, and an interesting variety of animals. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
