Bill McCririe is a second-generation Livingston County attorney. There are over 90 years of legal experience between him and his father, with whom he worked in private practice for eight years.
A graduate of Brighton High School, McCririe graduated pre-law from Michigan State University and went on to earn his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing.
After graduating from law school, McCririe was an attorney with the cities of Lansing and Southfield, where he worked on tax tribunals, as well as on land use and condemnation issues. His condemnation work in Southfield helped clear the way for the construction of I-696 through that area.

He spent over 16 years as an assistant prosecutor at the Livingston County Prosecutor’s Office. During his time there, he worked on thousands of cases and gained a reputation as a fearless courtroom attorney.
