The food came out pretty quickly, and was accurate and hot. The person who took my order was friendly and prompt. The remodel looks nice, they got rid of the horse and buggy in the play area; it blocked parents’ view of the play structure, and was something kids liked to climb on despite signs saying not to, so, even though it was a unique piece and was perfectly “Texas” I’m happy it’s gone. They upgraded the drying fan in the restroom so you can actually get your hands dry I’d still prefer paper, but I’ll settle on a fan that actually blows strong enough to dry my hands. It wasn’t all that busy when we we went so I was rather surprised to see dirty tables and some trash on the floor in a couple places - I thought maybe it had been busier just before we arrived, which might explain the untidy areas but no one cleaned while we were there, despite few customers coming inside and the drive-thru line staying rather short but I don’t know if maybe there were a lot of curbside orders while we were there. This has been an issue quite a few times when we’ve come to this location, before the remodel, that’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
I'm done with this location. The only reason I have kept coming back is because my kids only like McDonald's nuggets and it's close to my house. I'm going to start driving to the Hudson Oaks location. Every time I come through here, there's been an issue with my order. And, I've worked fast food in the past, so I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but tonight was the last straw. I ordered a chocolate shake, it came out looking like vanilla, so I said something to the lady working the window. She gave me this sassy "no, that's chocolate" reply. I took a sip. It tasted exactly how it looked: vanilla. I sent pictures to a few people and asked them what flavor they thought the shake was. 100% of them replied, "vanilla". I mean, come on! The food was cold and the fries were SUPER salty I threw them away. The Big Mac patties tasted like they had been sitting under the warmer for a while. Ridiculous! Not pleased at all. Previously I would have rated this place a 3, but it gets worse every time I come.
Breakfast was great as well as the Frappe. However when your waiting for your food ans watch them put into a bag the the person they just took an order for gets their food as well as several others after that, kinda puts a sour taste in one's mouth. If there had just been communication stating that they were waiting on the hashbrowns at the get go. I wouldn't have gotten that sour taste in my mouth. Just an observation customer service is what I do for a living, communication is big. And just that courtesy to let a person know they aren't forgotten goes a long way.
Wait is long every time I come here just to end up getting cold food the staff are always standing around this is the first time they actually didn't mess up my order but of course they messed up other orders the dining area is beyond nasty food all over the floors trash cans over flowing tables are nasty I actually had to clean my own table just to sit down and eat I had to pick the cleanest table around and we was still sticking to it this is uncalled for and pure laziness
McDonald's just pay people to do the job. And not all the jobs at once. Waited 20 minutes for order. Finally got my money back. They couldn't figure out how to complete our order. Feel through the process I guess. Anyway we eat somewhere else cheaper and Much quicker. Time to stop eating at McDonald's.
I ordered using the app parked in curbside. I waited 10 minutes. No one came out to bring my order. I walked in ask for my order. They put my food in front of me and walked off. Didn’t apologize for not bringing my food out. curbside didn’t think me for my order. Just dropped it off in front of me. Very very sad customer service. By the way, my food was cold.
My wife got extreme food sickness major diarrhea & such nearly immediately after eating a cheeseburger at this location, and almost soiled herself in going to another location for a restroom. This McDonald’s restaurant had their doors locked, only taking orders from the drive through. They do not answer the phone so managers/owner does not know they need to clean and throw away spoiled food to start over with new shipment of food.
I come here often and I'm almost always treated kindly. Also, my food is usually fresh and made correctly. On the off chance it's not, a simple phone call is all that's needed to remedy the situation. In fact, I went through the DT tonight and they forgot my meal. I didn't notice until I got home. You're probably wondering why my review is five stars....well, because they're so kind there and the manager Michael is so accommodating and helpful that any mistakes are taken care of immediately and without hesitation. Of course, I had my receipt though, and I wouldn't have expected a replacement without one because that's just how things go. I got home and gave my kids their food and noticed mine was missing so my husband made a quick call while I headed back. It was that simple. The manager Michael was apologetic and very kind. I went inside and offered my receipt after asking for Michael. He was expecting me and apologized profusely and gave me a fresh and hot replacement meal. Easy peasy! Mistakes happen and that doesn't warrant a bad review. I care more about how I'm treated by the staff than whether or not my food is correct. While it can be inconvenient to travel back to get the food, the employees are human and, as long as everyone is nice about it, there's no need to be ugly. Actually, there is never a need to be ugly. But that's just my opinion. Thanks for reading my rant! And thank you, Michael, for being so cool about replacing my meal tonight. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant has been recently remodeled totally gutted inside and redone including the children's play area. My kids love coming here to play. Parking: There are a good amount of parking spaces however, the handicap parking all had the potential to be blocked by a long line in the drive thru which can make the parking lot chaotic and difficult to back out of a parking space. Wheelchair accessibility: There are several handicap parking spaces and wheelchair accessible spots for wheelchair bound people to get onto the sidewalk and into the front door. Dietary restrictions: The staff is very accommodating to any and all dietary needs. All you have to do is ask.
One of the better McD's I've seen - they have a new indoor playground, even an awesome 2x3 coloring wall for kids to draw on. The staff especially Stephanie was super friendly and fast at getting our milkshakes yes, the machine is working! Kudos to this veteran owned McDonald's!Food: 5/5
So the drive thru is supposed to be open until 3AM, according to both the website and Google. Looks like tonight, they decided to leave all the lights on and close. No idea what happened, but about 6 others cars and myself waited for an embarrassing amount of time for no one to answer at the menus! Lol
