Just go ahead and go somewhere else. I have enjoyed coming to this practice, but in the last year they have completely gone down hill. They have gotten very rude and they act like they are too busy to deal with you. Had a baby in Sept. And they are wonderful if you are trying to get out of the hospital next day and get home quickly with your baby. Otherwise they will put your babys shots off for over 6 months because they seem to not be able to schedule properly. I called in may and they tried to tell me they couldn't update his shots til December. That would have caused him to get more behind. Also if your a first time parent sending your kid to school make sure on what you need. The practice does not seem to know what your kid needs to start kindergarten. With that being said they gave me an immunization record and said that will work. They were wrong. I had to come back and get the 3300 form but before I got there Kimberlynn or Kimberly shredded the documents even though I called and let them know I was on the way. making ME pay double for the records because THEY shredded the first ones. I live in Jackson so the drive alone through two cities is hectic. I didn't not want to throw a fit but in my opinion if you want a great doctor and don't mind a lil drive, griffin pediatrics is wonderful. They helped me clear everything up on what I needed and helped me get my baby's shots up to date without having to wait 6 months or more. I have very disappoint in McDonough pediatrics.

My child does not get shots for multiple reasons. We were scheduled for a wellness visit. They did the first half of the visit and even poked my 4 year olds finger hemoglobin check. Someone comes in asking about immunization. I politely let her know that my child is exempt. Someone else by the name of ANNA comes in and let us know that my child has to be transferred elsewhere. I let her know, “Yeahhh, they tell us that every time we come.” She then rudely says, “And you just keep on coming!” ANNA needs to go back to the drawing board and reconsider her profession. Not only is my child upset from getting an unnecessary shot, but ANNA was extremely rude in her delivery. There is a way to do everything and what she said and did was wrong, rude, and uncalled for!!!! On my way out, I asked about paperwork stating that they were refusing to see my child and she told me that, “You won’t receive anything here.” I asked for my child’s hemoglobin results since they took that and in my opinion shouldn’t have being that they were going to refuse an exam. She stated, “It was _____. It’s good. You can have that.” Anna was flat out rude and disrespectful. No taste or regard to why my child doesn’t receive vaccinations. Avoid this office and ANNA at all costs. PS. I am aware of what comes with an unvaccinated child but disrespect and rudeness isn’t one of them.

I see now, the 2.9 reviews speaks for itself! I scheduled an appointment for my grandson a well visit for today @3pm my daughter lives 40 minutes away left @ 2pm but still was delayed by traffic she finally made it @3:10pm greeted with all staff having attitudes he didn’t get checked in or seen by the doctor. I tried to call the office mgr. Spoke with Kimberly Rice getting smart being rude also. Then I asked for the mgr. Contacts preferably her email I was told by Kimberly that she wasn’t aloud to give her mgr email out and that I had to email her so she can forward it! What in the world happened to professionalism. That was preposterous! Please! Hire people that’s professional has passion working with children.

Been taking all of my kids here since birth. They have almost always had same day sick appointments! The staff has changed a lot over the years but they have definitely been consistent with staff that cares. Aisha Mallory has been one in particular that has been super nice and has worked to get my kids seen every time we have had an issue this winter... we have had a lot more visits than usual but she always has a great attitude and a bug smile for us. The doctors here are also very thorough and kind!!! Love this place!

Today was our first visit. I loved it staff was amazing and it was quick service didn’t have to wait long to get called back or for the doctor to come in the room. Receptionist customer service skills were above and beyond very friendly and welcoming and willing to answer any questions. So glad I chose them! Only thing is the building is hard to find but it’s connected to Piedmont Urgent Care. And Dr. Rogers is amazing !! Will be making her my kids new primary care doctor

This nurse was asking MY CHILD instead of me if she can check my daughters private part and breasts and shes not a gynecologist !!!!!!! We were doing a regular check up and shots for school.

I have been taking my children to McDonough Pediatrics for over 10 years. The staff is exceptional. I am very grateful for the time they take with us at each visit. Their kindness and gentleness with both of my children has been amazing.

The lady in the office name KIM is very rude!!!! I called to get an appointment made for my daughter immunizations and this lady was saying how my daughter hasn’t been there in while and that she will see if she can get her an appointment???? First of all rude lady,what the heck does that have to do with anything????? She was very rude!!!! Very belittling and nasty! Stay away from this place! I’m changing my kinds Doctor ASAP!!!

Negative stars would be nice. Daughter had an accident on her bicycle which caused road rash which now seems to be infected and she's running a fever. Tried to make an appointment and they refused to see us. They also stated that they would refuse any walk-ins. Not sure how or why businesses like this continue to get customers.

STAY AWAY!!!! I would highly recommend staying away from McDonough Pediatrics. Their lack of service and helpfulness demonstrates their true value for their business. We recently moved and I found McDonogh Pediatrics online. I called to asked if they did walk ins and they confirmed with the doctor that they would until 3:30. I arrived and signed my sick 5 month old and confirmed I was a new patient. The lady said they only do walk ins for already established patients or new patients. Confused I informed them I had a primary doctor from my previous city I moved from but was looking for something local. She stated that she wouldn’t allow me to see the doctor as I wouldn’t promise my long term commitment.... obviously the business doesn’t understand business is maintained through customer service. With a smile on her face so instructed me to go to urgent care. Even the lady behind her instructed her to give me a new patient form and she refused. This alone tells me their main priority isn’t for the care of children but the long term income they can obtain even though I would have paid for my business
