McElroy Splash Park

Good place to take the kids to get wet and have a great barbecue. Dog friendly has restrooms, and a nice basketball court.

Nice park but half of the benches were occupied by homeless people and they would take baths in the water while the kids were playing. I get it that Houston is hot at the moment but there are shelters for them everywhere. It was really uncomfortable having my children around that.

Great family park.. it's small but it's nice and the kids loved the splash pad.. I dnt think I saw one kid on the actual playground . All the families that were there were very respectful the park is VERY clean

Has basketball court,pavilions w grills and a splash pad.. Good place to cool off. Restrooms: Sometimes locked but ok Dog-friendliness: Me n my 3 dogs have stayed cool here many days. Picnic area: Even in the storms u can stay dry here .

Kids always have a great time at the splash pad. Great way to spend an evening with the kids.

Might just have to make this a lunch spot.

Homeless people, a man smoking pot, couple of tweekers. Then there were the sweet young men who kept the water flowing for my grandson and the couple who played ball with him. Overall it was a great adventure for him.

Needs more tables but its pretty cool kids like it alot
