Remember when this mall was constantly packed. What has happened to this place? So many stores are gone. Such a shame, it is such a nice little mall.
Not much store selections, building smells horrible in some areas and bathrooms are a wreckliterally
Poor old nearly empty mall. Still looks nice. Needs 4 new anchor stores.
Not a dead mall but there are lots of empty retail spaces inside. There are enough stores to keep you interested. It is a good place to get out of your house, go for a walk, and clear your mind.
I thought it was due to on line sales. Amazon was killing them. I went to the Glenbrook mall in Ft. Wayne and it was a completely different story. The mall was full of business and there were soany people it was difficult to just walk through. And that was when everyone was still masked during the great pandemic of 21. There is something else wrong. The building is emptied of many big stores. Very little now to see. It's no longer the kids hang out.
Dying needs inventive reuse
Only went there for the new Buyers market. They offer "discounted" merchandise. It isn't like what you see on their Facebook page once your actually there looking. You have to really dig and try to figure out what's in alot of the boxes. And some of it is just single items. Prices are not nearly discounted enough to me. I spent a hour there and dint find anything worth the drive. Pay close attention to their return policies posted on the front door.
Sadly, this place has went down hill in the last couple of years. The remaining stores are clean and staffed with mostly friendly people. Would love to see more department style stores return, instead of the fleamarket types.
