Applying for credit is a very scary prospec! The agent that took care of me was beyond AMAZING! Right out of the gate he eased my mind, explained everything and my options!! I hope you know what an asset he is! CREDIT UNIONS are wonderful and Pen Fed is the best!!!!
If you looking for a Good Bank GO AWAY, this is the WORSE BANK and the worse CUSTOMER SERVICE i have ever experience in my WHOLE life, when I tell you is the worse is do not come close to it... first, the person was working with GRISELDA me had no knowledge of what she was doing never responds to my calls email, she got back to me 13 days later that she was going to "start" working on my paperwork, I was asking question and never got back answers, I was so frustrated I contact her " manager" YOUNG omg even worse this one did not respond back to me a month a half LATER and just because I contact the support, they all have a excuse of why that happened, they do not respect your time you as a person or have any responsibilities what so ever, they make me waste my money on a appraisal and did not want to give me the refund when was there fault the closing did not happened I was on top of everything and getting all paperwork together as soon they asked for it, THEY EVEN LIE TO MY FACE SAYING MY HR DID NOT SEND THE INFORMATION NEED IT, when I was next to the computer with the person who send it, I recheck the email to make sure everything was ok and it WAS. I do not recommend this bank, they make me feel HORRIBLE and I do not wish that kind of situation or treatment happen to anyone STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK THEY SHOULD PUT RED STAR for companies like this, so people stay away UPDATE 09/08/23: They still continue with the lack of communication the "manager" called me and they refuse to give me my money back when they clearly did not do their job and blame on me for everything when I have all emails this is RACIST and unprofessional, claiming they cant refund my money when they can, they said there were able to work something out to get my money back and then when i told them how irresponsible they are, they just turn around and did nothing and refuse to give me my money lies lies, from all the reviews you can tell there is more complaints that anything else do not do business with this company
I have a last minute issue with my auto loan check and Yasser took an excellent care of me. He jumped on the issue right away and helped me with a speedy solution. Super impressed!
My experience with Dalia was absolutely amazing, she made me feel so comfortable and was very informative. I knew walking out choosing Penfed was the right decision thanks to her. Very professional while also showing a want to genuinely help. She went above and beyond and I couldn't be more greatful for all the help she provided.
I have always done bank by phone for 30 plus years I could not get into my account. So I drove an hour from my home, employee Yasir was great he fixed all my issues. GREAT EMPLOYEE Thank you
I was transferred to Penfed from Sperry federal when they closed it. Penfed has forced me to buy a new computer running windows 11 I was running seven and they were insistent that they couldn’t pay my bills through seven anymore and they didn’t and they have screwed up my credit rating so badly it’s unbelievable Macy’s the store Macy’ssent me a letter and took my credit line from $2500 down to 100 because they can see that my bills were not being paid and I sit down the last weekend of every month and pay my bills …… Penfed because I was running Windows 7 and not what they wanted decided not to bother paying my bills. Oh yeah. All the trouble it has caused. I had to go out and buy almost $500 paperweight that runs 11 and it’s only to use this bank everything else I do is on my old machine running windows7 My best advice don’t get involved with them I’m stuck with them now, but I really don’t wanna be Got to say they are not attached to any other credit union, so there are no branches to go to no tellers to see, you can only get cash from a machine which I hate, I think it makes me a marked woman I walk with a walker and walking to snd from a machine is a sign that this little old lady just got cash not a good thing not at all. My best advice run away. I have been using online bill pay. Exclusively with Sperry and now with pentigon federal. Since it was first possible to pay bills online I never had a problem before, but these people have caused so many issues. There’s no explanation as to how badly they have screwed my finances up, ruined my credit rating and my good name. Best advice runaway fast as you can. Do not get involved with them not for any reason.
I am sick and tired of reps telling me they can't help with XYZ. There doesn't seem to be anyone willing to figure stuff out. I can't wait to switch institutions.
Try to stay away from this bank, the customer service is super bad, they have no considerations for their clients and blame the customer on their mistakes
No help tried to close CD on line than on the phone person said they were going to send a link never did.
Quiet branch. Personnel are polite and are capable of addressing your needs
