Went for the fireworks show on the fourth of July. Very nice and there were police and emergency workers helping with the crowded parking and the exit when it was all over. Great show and great help from all the law enforcement and others when it was time to go.
Flew Southern Airways to ATL. Flight was delayed, but that's just life with traffic being delayed with the plane coming to Atlanta. Crew was professional and it was a smooth landing, one of the better ones I've experienced in years. I was the only passenger on my flight, which was fun. As long as you build in Flex Time to your schedule, it should not be an issue. My 3.5 hour layover in ATL turned into 1.5hrs, but my connection was only 30 gates away in the same terminal. The airport staff was great and the whole process even with the TSA was smooth.
Quick parking and fast check-in. It is easy to navigate the airport. Security is efficient and quick.
We had to make an unscheduled stop here due to weather and what an amazing experience! Nathanial was so kind to us and very helpful! We absolutely LOVED the pilot's lounge that they provided. They had a wonderful massage chair that was amazing! They have a few wonderful lounge chairs, a great flight planning room with computer and printer. The bathrooms are very clean and well kept, but please know that there is a commercial airline that flies in there, so there might be a lot of people in the main area, but you can go to the private FBO side. The self service fuel area is great and easy to use. We also had to tie our plane down over night due to the weather and there was no problems. We would highly recommend this place and will put it on our list of stops when flying through the area!!
Super easy airport to travel from. I was lucky enough to come across airplane rides the day I went to pick up a rental. Got to go up in a 1929 by plane
We enjoy coming here and great staff and especially Mrs. Jennell, she was really helpful like other staff and was make sure everything good with our short stop , good restaurant on the corner and u can walk there 2 minutes. Good place to stop for fuel and food . Great FBO and amazing ATC staff she is super kind and helpful and he also same don’t know the name but u guys are great here .
Southern Airways Express pilots evidently can only chart straight routes to Atlanta especially if you don’t have enough people on the plane to justify the expense of flying to Atlanta. If there is a rain or lightning in sight between here and there, they will cancel “due to weather”. You assume the risk.
Horrible experience for my family. We had a 6am flight yet the airport doesn't open until 8am. Seriously! We get there and the airport is dark and locked! We missed our flight and had no one to help us. Avoid this airport and boutique airlines.
Very nice place very nice people they will let you watch the airplane take off and they're very sweet people
Everyone was friendly and the check-in was easy! Nice flight! Highly recommend!
