McKinnon Dental was founded in 1959 by Dr. Donald McKinnon
at 819 Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton Wisconsin. In 1989 a new building at 1000 South Oneida Street in Appleton, Wisconsin was built to continue providing great Family Dental Care to many generations in the Fox River Valley.
As the dental practice grew, so did the McKinnon Family. A lifelong resident of Appleton, Dr. McKinnon's children always knew that they had the opportunity to follow in the family business. With a solid upbringing in the profession peppered with great family values, it became obvious by his own choosing, that his youngest son, Daniel, would pursue dentistry as his profession.
In 1989, Dr. Daniel McKinnon graduated from the Marquette University School of Dentistry and joined the family practice in Appleton, Wisconsin. With Daniel's fresh perspective and great attention to caring for each patient the practice continued to grow. As dental techniques & technology advanced so did young Dr. McKinnon's drive for continued education, advanced reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry certification. The practice quickly expanded to include implants, reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry to the entire Fox Cities area.
