I had seen Dr. McLaughlin several times about 4 years back now, but everyday since and likely forever suffer from that. To his credit, he seemed knowledgeable in diagnosing my condition. The staff was probably the biggest issue. I needed orthotics, which took 4 weeks to make that's normal. After getting those, they had imperfections on the top layer that caused pressure points. He said it would take 2 weeks to have them adjusted. So 2 weeks went by, and I called. They said they'll look into and call back. Nothing. I called again the following week, then 2-3 times each week for the next month before calling every day. Each time the receptionist said they would look into it and call back. I never once got a call back. After 2.5 months, I went to their office in person. I'll never forget the look on her face when I said my name. She gave me the runaround response, that the orthotic company is backed up, blah blah blah. I found that unbelievable after they made it in 4 weeks from scratch; I was certain the office misplaced and forgotten about them. By the time I got them back it was 3 months, and over that time by subconsciously shifting my weight away from the original painful area, I now have 3 other problem areas added on that hurt worse. I've tried meeting with several other podiatrists since who basically said there's not much they can do since there isn't any place they could shift weight to that isn't already experiencing pain. It's been depressing over the years being limited in playing with my kids during their young years, to have to come to terms that I will have to live in pain like this forever. I just wish I had never gone here.
Make sure you have an hour to wait just incase. With that being said it's worth it. I wont go anyplace else.
Been assisting clients for a year here and it is always a hassle. Come 10 min before appointment schedule time and still end up waiting an hr or more for just for nail cut downs. The time spent here is ridiculous and the service is very slow. Would not recommend unless you have a minimum of 3 hrs of your day to waste here.
The doctors definitely know what they are doing, and are the best in the field. However, the wait time is obsurd. Something needs to be fixed when my 9:30am appointment turns into half an hour in the waiting area, and over half an hour more waiting in the exam room. This happens every time, and other patrons have said the same while waiting to even get into an exam room. Also, it would not hurt the nurses to smile once in a while. Bedside manner is a necessary tool for nursing, is it not? I still love this office even after all that rambling.
My dad comes here regularly for what should be a fairly quick appt, 15-20 minutes tops. They never take him on time and he sometimes waits over an hour before he is even seen. His last appt was at 10:45 and he wasn't taken into the room until after 12. Absolutely ridiculous to make patients, especially elderly patients wait that long! Will be going elsewhere from now on.
Went there for Plantar Fasciitis. Dr. Mclaughlin was a great guy. Extremely pleasant, professional, gave great advice. Helped me with anti-inflammatory meds and home stretching info. Dr. McLaughlin's staff were very nice as well.
Dr. McLaughlin is tops for me. I am so happy and healed from awful plantar faciatis and strained achilles tendons. If you listen to him and do what he tells you , you will get healed. Going forward you must wear the right low heeled supportive shoes. Id wait all day to see him if nessesary. I appreciate his smile and kindness. I go to the Foxboro location.
Never got to see the Doctor my appointment was at 11:30 , 12 30 still waiting , I asked the staff , they replied that I needed to sit and wait If you want to see that this doctor u will need a good 4 to 5 hours
Needed a Podiatrist badly. Called and they squeezed me in even though fully booked. I will be ever thankful. Healing now.. 9/2021.
Most of the time I don’t get what I need. Being asking for diabetic shoes. No response at all.
