This is such a lovely restaurant with a fantastic view of the beach. I stopped in a for a quick bite after spending a good part of the day suntanning. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted very warmly by the hostess, and my server was attentive. Everything I ordered starting from the shrimp cocktail to the crab cake sandwich came out fast and delicious. Cocktails are great here as well. The establishment is very large, and it looks like a great place to hold major events like wedding receptions and baby showers. They have a decent sized menu with reasonable prices, especially for this area. I enjoyed my first experience here and will definitely stop by the next time I am in the area.
We came here for my MIL birthday dinner. There was 9 of us on a Sunday, it was super busy but I had made a reservation, thankfully. We were seated with a few of the ocean which was very nice. The aesthetics of the restaurant was nice too. We ordered the calamari, bread and the shrimp scampi flatbread for appetizers. They said everything was delicious, same with dinner too! Even our 11 year old sister enjoyed the bread, fries and pasta! Overall it was a great dining experience. Our waitress was super nice too! The girls and I got together for brunch. When I arrived I found parking right in front of the restaurant. I walked in and was sat by the hostess. The place had the best view of the shore! Heather was our server, and she was nice. We all ordered different items, and for my meal, I got the shrimp tacos with chips. It looked very good! When I dug in, it was good. I just wish they used flour tortillas. The chips were really tasty. My friend ordered the lobster salad, which was huge. She enjoyed it! She didn't, however, enjoy her watermelon sangria. She said she really couldn't taste the watermelon flavor. The other ladies enjoyed their meals. The bill was super affordable! We did have a good experience all in all!
I cannot recommend McLoone's Pier House enough! My now-husband and I had a tough time when we initially searched for wedding venues. We knew we wanted a beach wedding with hotel options nearby, but found the options within our price point very limiting. Upon entering McLoone's, it felt light and open and was truly a beachy venue. We did not want to think about rain, but other venues often offered indoor ceremony options in a back room with no windows, while McLoone's still felt like we were on the beach! Looking at the pricing, especially in relation to the quality and quantity of food, it was a no-brainer! From our first visit, the entire staff was gracious and helped us feel comfortable and confident in our decision. Rachel answered so many questions via email, was extremely organized, and made clear exactly what we needed to do and when, to ensure that everything was all set before the big day. She and the team did a fantastic job getting everything set up to make my exact vision for the venue come to life! The decorations were set up to perfection and I loved everything about it! On the day of our wedding, the entire staff was amazing. Everyone was kind, attentive, and excited for us! We have to shout out the maitre d' Nelson- he was amazing! He coordinated plates of food for us while we got ready for the ceremony so we did not have to deal with a hangry groom situation. I realized right before we walked down the aisle that an item we were using for our ceremony was missing. He coordinated to have it brought in without anyone me included! even noticing when it happened! Throughout the night he checked in on us, and was watching the radar so closely that he notified our photographer when we needed to go outside for some couple's photos so we would miss the rain. Thank goodness he did, as a huge thunderstorm rolled in just a few minutes after we got back! The food was amazing, everyone was raving about it- we definitely recommend the surf and turf option!! Even the next day, the staff packed everything up nicely for us and made pick-up so easy. I wish we could relive wedding day and we can't wait to go back to visit on our anniversary! We hosted a private event at Mcloone’s - it was my parents’ surprise 40th anniversary party. I worked with Lisa to coordinate everything and I had such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Communication was clear and prompt, and the event was executed flawlessly. They even upgraded us from the semi private surf bar area to the upstairs Atlantic room at no additional charge which was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible, staff was extremely attentive and helpful, all our guests were raving about every aspect of the event and we cannot be more grateful to Mcloone’s for helping us put on such a special evening!

We had our baby's 1st birthday party there. The restaurant has the most gorgeous view esp the top level for parties. Love eating here too on normal occasions. The food here is fabulous and the service is always on point! I recommend having parties here! They have good selections of food. My guests were impressed by the dishes and the scenery!
Great view, great food, gluten free buns and knowledgeable staff! Couldn't ask for anything else. Not white glove service but great for brunch or any afternoon down the shore. I've been to most of their restaurants and the bar is high for this very small high end chain. Great for parties as well. They did a great job hosting men and women in separate areas for a shower simultaneously. Fun was had by all! Parking: Pier village requires patience but you always get a metered spot within a block or two. Handicap parking in front. Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free buns.... I suspect Udi's. Knowledgeable staff who followed up, delivered separately and were very accommodating.
We have been here before and they never disappoint. However, this visit had a slight hiccup with my wife's meal. Her meat came out rare instead of medium. The manager came over right away and brought her out another meal cooked medium. Then they gave her a free dessert of her choice , for the inconvenience. Mistakes happen and they were all over it! Thanks ! My crabcakes were delicious!
Amazing place on the ocean for events such as birthdays or weddings. Great service and gorgeous atmosphere!!!Food: 5/5
