The place is very small and quaint but unfortunatly there are alot of drug addicts that will sit there throughout the day so i do not reccomend bringing children there but it is a nice little walk.
Not a bad Park if your homeless . Seriously, it is a nice park with basketball courts, Handball Court and tennis Courts. It's okay to take your kids here. Normally no drama. Playground: Small playground with a climbing area and swings. ... Or at least there used to be a common area I think they tore that out and supposed to rebuild. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are not officially banned or welcome I guess I take mine to run around every once in awhile.
This park is taken by a homeless community. Although my teenager is almost an adult I was not comfortable leaving him here to play Basketball alone.
Fairly nice park. It’s kept clean but the only downside is the amount of homeless people who call this place home. It’s a nice park to walk your dog, play tennis or basketball. If you bring your kids to the playground please keep an eye on them because the people who hang around here are highly questionable.
Its an ok little park but the homeless have made it there home so i make my kids keep there shoes on and i pick up trash everytime we go. Its drunk n junkies so who knows whats all in the sand the playgrounds on so it makes me nervous. But if your just tryna go there to play its good but not the place to just be hanging out. The events held here always turn out great!! Esp the Christmas tree lighting
Great place to eat in the shade Friendly people with great information of the local area of Pompano beach. One of the most cherished memory I have is from my trip to McNabb park where I met the most kind hearted homeless individual by the name of Laura Devidian probably miss spelled her last name because she showed me how great people could be no matter the situation or circumstances that one's under
Park is for the most part fairly nice... However , you have to try and do your thing while all the homeless people wander about.. It makes me feel sad therefore stealing some of my enjoyment
Lots of homeless there, they are harmless, it's good to take a dozen sandwiches and bottle water for them, everyone should love their neighbor as themselves
We turned around and left immediately. The park was gorgeous and shaded, but unfortunately it was littered with used syringes. No thanks!
Love to play racquetball here...some issues with homeless but the city is trying to keep it clean...public bathrooms and plenty of parking, open basketball court, tenis and racquetball courts...plus a jogging path and rest areas...close to supermarkets and restaurants
