Our complaints are related to deliveries. Every time Amazon transfers a package to this post office for delivery, our anxiety level goes up. One time they did not deliver because they said there was road construction in our neighborhood. I guarantee there was no road construction. Then yesterday they said they tried to deliver but no one was home and we would have to pick up the delivery at the post office. Oddly, they said they tried to deliver at 12:15, but the package was ready for pickup at 12:35. We were home and have a Ring camera. No one tried to deliver anything. Also, we have Informed Delivery for our regular mail and can see what is supposed to be delivered. Probably around 5% of the time we do not get the mail that is supposed to come to our house. We often have to call companies to resend important mail. Finally, our neighbor put a hold on her mail for 11 days, and during that time we also got no mail. Come to find out they were holding our mail with hers even though it is a totally different address.
Package said delivered. They lied and I had to go to post office just to find out someone set my Package in the back. Most likely planning to steal it. Another Package was supposed to be here a week ago. Usps track says it arrived last week and is "moving through network". These lazy workers need to be terminated.
They tell you how it is and do their job. Lady I dealt with went back twice and said they probably trying to reship today. They did. Stop being mad at these people for not being Chick-fil-A. This ain't that. Ain't nobody finna treat y'all like some princesses. Stop it. It's a "Government" job right? So is your government treating you well? Don't take it out on these beautiful people. Five Stars.
Don’t listen to all these reviews. I’ve used many services to ship/receive items and nothing comes close to the cost, time and condition like our country’s postal service. Barbara and Faye have helped me MANY times and their service is unparalleled in Birmingham. Ship with the best!
Absolutely awful place to have to go to. Had to pick up a package they couldn’t deliver, only to drive all the way here and be told that the worker couldn’t find the package and asked if “I could come back tomorrow”. Even worse, the workers don’t care and simply “apologize for the inconvenience.”
I wouldn’t give it any stars if I could. I have another package they claim was left at my door today. No. It wasn’t. Been home all day. They hate walking up steps so I have to constantly either go get my packages that they are PAID to deliver or I have to file reports and claims. These are the laziest mail carriers I have ever seen. I wish they would close the Meadowbrook branch. They are useless. I was even told by one of the postal workers at that branch that they aren’t paid to deliver packages. SMH
They can’t deliver my Amazon package to my home. I don’t have a car and I can’t even go there in person due to my work hours. I just need my package that I ordered to be delivered to my home. They don’t even pick up the phone.
Why are y'all are having so many problems at this post office? I was there again today. Barbara greeted me pleasantly, handed me my package, and I was in and out of there in about 60 seconds.
All the ladies who work here are nice & try to get you out asap ! I have had issues with usps leaving pick up notes but getting up Here and there was nothing here I wish they delivered to the doors of the apartments instead of leaving notes
Probably the worst experience you can have with USPS. Several false delivery attempts, no one has ever answered the phone when I call for support. I'm assuming if a package doesn't fit in the mailbox, they just give up instead of knocking or leaving it at your door. Be prepared to be constantly disappointed.
