I went to honest Abe's they have pretty good burgers and phenomenal truffle fries. Highly recommended
I bought food at the Wall. It was good. I saw Valentino's is moving in. That is a good addition. We ate at Honest Abe's. I had a hamburger with bacon, peanut butter, Cole slaw and barbecue sauce. I liked the flavor. The side salad had a good mix of greens, corn and tomatoes. I visited the Roundhouse. They had countless miniature trains.
Nice mall area. The remodel really looks great and it made it a much nicer area to shop.
Hardware store for some plumbing fittings. Inventory horrible. Off to Menards, should have went there to begin with.
This adorable shopping center has been a neighborhood anchor for decades. Sometimes one of my favorites leaves that's you Ben Franklin and Baskin Robbins, but they always attract other gems.
Can't go wrong with a burger from Abe's. Just be a bit daring and try one you wouldn't normally consider. The layers of flavor are amazing. I've tried over 30 different burgers and have only had one I wouldn't get again but only because it had a bit to much heat and it was a bit over powering to me Ring of Fire. I like to go with a friend that is willing to be brave and then we can split our burgers and try 2.
Good food, friendly staff. Would recommend.
I’m always at the ice cream scoop shop. The ice cream is delicious.
I grew up in this neighborhood so of course I know this place like the back of my hand. If you're up here it may be small but if you like good burgers you need to go to Abe's, if you like art then it's a nice time to stop into Ben Franklin, though I haven't been in since they reopened, but it looks like they really put some effort into the new place. And a silly add on but I kind of like just stopping into Ace even if I don't need something, the employees there are always very nice people and I will typically pick up something small on my way out, because I could always use more spray paint. Plus always gotta grab a bag of popcorn on yhe way out too
Some good shops are here, esp. ACE Hardware, Time & Treasures like an old 5 & dime store, bridal shop, China Wall restaurant, bar, Abe's burgers & a dog exercise place. We go here for hardware needs consistently. They now have lots of plants available for spring planting!! **Be careful parking!! There is space but w/ cars & trucks driving thru lot, it can get crowded or dicey! Look twice!!
