Medical Center Pharmacy

I've personally been a customer for about a year now. although I can remember as a child going with my Grandparents and eating in the grill when it was on chestnut and Franklin blvd. The service I've received has always been top notch. Everyone has been very helpful and always there to answer any questions that I have had or concerns with medications I may have asked. If anyone is looking for a fantastic parmacy I would recommend Medical center Pharmacy. I can 100% garentee you will be happy with your decision.

I went in to get oral jell and was accused of stealing. I had receipt in hand.!!! Might check out the grill, but pharmacy is off limits for me.!!!

I’ve been using this pharmacy for many years and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the prompt and caring service, the speed in filling all of my prescriptions and bc I take a few narcotics that have to be double counted they’ve always had another kind pharmacist take quick care of them as he does my rest. The most important thing I can say to anyone considering using this pharmacy is you’ll not be receiving some generic treatment the way you would at cvs or Walgreens. Why? It’s all about the ppl who strive so hard every day there to ensure that you receive all your meds in short order if necessary and they’re all family-good Christian folks who genuinely care about you. The grill is pretty dang good too lol getcha a little lunch while they fill your script’s and let all that UNC Tarheel Blue make everything well with your soul! GO HEELS! –Matthew K.

The local pharmacy with the hometown touch. These guys are awesome and go far beyond what a large chain pharmacy could do for you. It’s the kind of business that you just don’t find anymore. Also you are supporting a small local business....which means not only does your patronage provide local jobs but the money is spent here in our own community. Did I mention that the staff is friendly and courteous as well as having extremely knowledgeable pharmacists. As long as their doors remain open, our family will be using their services. Did I mention the homemade food! Try this pharmacy once....you’ll be glad you stopped. It also has an extremely nice sports memorabilia section. Tar Heel and Panthers fans will be delighted as will most collegiate fans.

Staff is extremely rude in the pharmacy and store area. The grill area has some nicer servers/employees. The constantly mess up my prescriptions and I always have to wait about a day for my prescription to be filled. It's pathetic. Management and Pharmacists need to be fired and a new team hired. I've been going to this pharmacy since I was a child; it just continues to downgrade while having horrible customer service!

This is the worst pharmacy between the staff and wait. I only put 1 star because it wouldnt let me do none. Laziest people working the pharmacy that i have ever encounterd. They do the VERY LEAST possible to please there customers. I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone! Everyone that put anything good to say about this place is full of it. They MUST either work there or know someone that does because THEY ARE THE WORST. Group of staff ive ever came across. They should be shut down

I wouldn't even give them a star if Google allowed me.. Stay AWAY from this Pharmacy. Just found out they have been GROSSLY overcharging me for my medications and when I brought this up, the employees treated me and my husband like we were liars and even followed us out of the store like we were criminals! I'm not entirely sure how they were able to charge so much while also running my insurance, but after contacting my insurance, they don't understand why I have been charged so much money. You know it's bad news when an INSURANCE COMPANY is telling you that you are being overcharged. Currently submitting a formal investigation to the NCBOP about this. Thank goodness I don't rely on my medications to actually keep me alive. I'm more concerned for those who have medications that do help keep them alive and live on fixed incomes. Imagine not being able to afford your medications because the PHARMACY decided that YOU SHOULD pay more than what your insurance affords you? Absolutely horrible.

The pharmacy staff is awesome but I just got a cheeseburger fries and a tea and it was $13 to 12 85 with tax that will be the last time I ever eat there and the Patty is not even a hen-made Patty it is a frozen patty $13 for a cheeseburger basket is outrageous I can go to Applebee's and eat better for $13 will not be back.

I love Medical Center Pharmacy. They're the sweetest, nicest people that I've had the pleasure to deal with. I would rather wait a couple of extra minutes for my prescription and know that everything is right, than rush through and get somebody else's meds. Thanks Don and crew.

The staff at The pharmacy are AMAZING! My drs office constantly mixes my Rx’s up with amounts, brands and actual medication, but the staff here quickly identifies any errors and seamlessly corrects the issue without skipping a beat!! It is a true shame that I can’t find this level of commitment to their patients/customers around my local area. Thank you Medical Center Pharm!!!
