MediLodge of Westwood

When I visit Westwood the staff is always friendly and welcoming. They truely care about enriching the lives of their residents. They offer a wide variety of daily activites along with monthly outings. The nursing staff provides excellent care with dignity and respect. They are a dedicated team who provides a warm welcoming home for their long-term care residents and a great home away from home experience their rehab residents.

My grandfather has been here since early February after having had a stroke in January. I've seen my grandpa several times and each time he is in good health and spirits and has had zero complaints about his treatment by staff. Any time there has been a complication such as him falling out of bed or a medical issue the staff have alerted our family promptly. Each time I have been to visit my grandpa I have witnessed him being treated with dignity and respect. With that being said some things have come up missing but I suspect that other residents take items from rooms. This is an aged care facility where residents do freely wander into other's rooms either to visit or are confused and may take items without knowing. In most cases items that were taken were returned to my family when we notified staff

My experience at this place was absolutely awful. I had been warned not to send my family member to this faculty but unfortunately they were the only place with open beds. I now know why that is. The place is run down, the staff is rude, and the community as a whole is pathetic. The first day my family member was there, I went to visit. We never received a call that he had officially been checked in and that he had safely arrived from the hospital. I finally had to end up calling them to see if everything was ok. Their communication is terrible. They don’t pay any attention to patients and they let them roam free whenever they wish to. I was told off by an employee that was very unprofessional and extremely rude. She claimed she was “reporting” me for laughing along with other patients. I beg you to avoid this place at ALL cost. YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I visit my sister-in-law on Friday at Meadow Lodge of Westwood and her cares are being met and I just like to thank the faculty and the team for doing a good job keep up the good work

Your staff is great with the residents I love how lit up my dad's face was when his nurse came in and seen him to see how he was doing. And they answered all of my questions and concerns I had regarding my dad.

The treatment of patients is despicable! They lost all of my cousin's clothes, would not allow her to safely plug in her C-PAP machine, and were extremely rude. She was released from the hospital and sent there for rehabilitation. They did nothing but make it worse and she ended back in the hospital less than a week of being released. If you love your family do NOT send them here.

My visit with my friend at Medilodge in Westwood is always a pleasure. Staff personnel are always friendly and cooperative.

I visited my brother the day after Thanksgiving. I found him in good spirits. This facility is older but very well kept. The staff is friendly, security in place and it appears to be kept very clean.
