Absolutely love this office! Second time coming here and the kids enjoy the office set up and the staff is absolutely amazing. Especially the lady at the front desk I wish I remembered her name she was amazing and patient with me when dealing with our insurance even watched the kiddos why I went to the restroom a few times! She is amazing face to see when walking in.
For years, we have had nothing but good experiences. About 6 months ago or so, My son and daughter had an appointment. On this particular day we were late. Now we drive roughly 30 minutes to get to Medina, and yes, I was late. Now there were no other patients in the office and I was extremely apologetic, to the nurses and doctor. But the office manager decided that wasn't enough, and decided to power trip and separate our kids appointments, which is a huge inconvenience. Again I owned and apologize for the tardiness, but feel this is a terrible way to treat people and conduct business.
Use to have Dr Kovik who is amazing-but he’s doing more surgery. 5star him. Had the new dentist. He’s not as social, more quiet, or just doesn’t care? 3star him. My daughter recently had a panoramic x-ray at her braces doctor, but this oral hygienist cleaning my daughters teeth ask if they can do one. I explained she had one Recently and has an appointment in two days at the brace doctor we would have it sent over. The girl cleaning, tells other girl entering computer information-make sure you document the mom is refusing. We all know that insurance will only pay for one in a certain time. That was rude. Otherwise, girls in the office are nice
The Pediatric Patients are treated with utmost respect! Both Children ENJOY going to The Dentist. They then are motivated to brush 'n' floss well. THANKS<~~big thanks!
We had fine experiences for a while, then they changed our dentist without introduction or information. We had scheduled a surgery for crowns for my son, then i hadn't heard about a physical deadline so I called and it was due 3 days later, over a weekend. I was able to get that done, watched the nurse fax the paperwork. I called the Friday before his Monday surgery to the dental surgical center, who let me know our surgery had been canceled because they couldnt reach me. I was furious, the lady said the dental office only used my husband's number which is ridiculous because I get all the reminder calls and texts and I know I put my number all over paperwork since we started going there. Why would you call dad?! Lol. Why couldn't they find ANY other number to call?! I left a message and email, neither of which was responded to but probably because the incompetent office staff can't figure out how to reach me through multiple communication options. What a joke. I do not recommend this place AT all, stay far away and find people who can use a phone and read paperwork.
Find a different office to visit. These people do great work, however, they are downright rude most of the time, refuse to answer their phones, and simply aren't worth the hassle of trying to rework a schedule to make up for them only being there part of the week. Update. The people running this office are clearly shady as hell. My daughter's primary dentist had said that the spacers that were put into her mouth need to come out asap as new teeth are coming in. This office won't do anything about it in a timely manner even though they're the ones that put them in. Trying to schedule us months out which will cause a whole other set of problems as she'd need oral surgery if we waited that long, which seems to be what this office is counting on.
I absolutely love the ladies behind the desk! The receptionist is always on point. All of the girls are fabulous with taking X-rays and teeth cleaning. The dentist themselves do a wonderful job with the children and the care of their teeth long-term!
We can honestly say from the first initial appointment and all the services rendered after that has been everything we were looking for. Exceeded our expectations! It was a very professional and caring exchange. We appreciated the call to check on our son after his procedure. I highly recommend for the little ones
If i could rate zero stars i would. First of all I have never experienced such a rude, dismissive, off-putting attitude at a dentist like I have both times I brought my son in. I took him in because I noticed he had a cavity starting and wanted to stay ahead of it, and the dentist was immediately insisting that I must be just never brushing my son's teeth I've always brushed since he popped his first tooth and that I must just be giving him sugar and snacks and not cleaning his teeth afterwards, and kept repeating "no milk or juice overnight in his bottle" despite me saying I don't give him anything but water, flavored water at the very worst, and that he hasn't had a bottle for a year now anyway. Then when I asked what else could be contributing, he just brushed me off and repeated himself. Then told me we could do some silver fluoride to stop the decay, but couldn't do it that day so my son had to live with the tooth pain for 2 more months so he could do a 5 minute application. Nobody was in the waiting room, mind you, idon't understand why we needed to come back in two months THEN he didn't tell me that if it got on his face during the application process that it could cause painful irritation, literally looks like my son's face is burned all around his mouth from where they got it on his face while he was upset and moving to get away from him. So i call back in a panic and they just said, "keep it moisturized, it'll go away in a couple weeks"....A COUPLE WEEKS?! WHY WOULD THEY NOT HAVE A WAY TO PROTECT MY BABY'S FACE THROUGH THIS?! I will be posting pictures and definitely contacting anyone I can about this until they do something to make this right, this is beyond unacceptable for people who work with babies and children!
I am not sure how there’s so many negative reviews for this office but we had a really great experience. Yes, we also needed dental surgery. The dentist/surgeon was great, the anesthesia doctor was great and all the nurses I encountered during both of our visits were extremely up beat and nice. As well as the anesthesia doctors personal office ladies that deal with pre op and insurance and all that jazz. They answered the phones too, there were no communication issues. The office is clean and the decor is super nice too. They did crowns on my sons teeth and I was warned by family members that took their children to other places to not have high expectations because they other ped dentists don’t usually care much about the appearance versus making the the teeth healthy, but my sons look amazing and said family members said as well when I sent pictures. I can’t say enough good things about our personal experience.
