I do find what I need. However, I was told by them to call ahead of time to get my order ready, they don't answer the phone at all! When I went back and let them know about their phone, they told me they have been aware but haven't done anything about it!!
I had bought these cookies, only to find that they had a nutrition label that was misinforming the public. Claiming it to be 10 calories for 8 cookies when in reality it was 90. Something about this seems off and I’m not sure if it was the store or the distributer who ILLEGALLY placed this misleading label. If no attention is brought to this situation, then I will have no other option than to take matters into my own hands.
This food store always carry fresh vegetables. And a large variety of Hispanic food.
por customer service, price is to high and the products not really fresh.
If you are not of Latino decent, good luck in MegaMart. They are so rude when you ask for help and are visibly frustrated if you don't speak Spanish. Unless they change, you won't see me buying anything here again. There are alot of items that aren't priced and that makes me uncomfortable. It was also not clean smelling and not nicely kept. The worst part for me was the rude staff who didn't want to help unless I spoke Spanish. Even then they were not aware if they had items in stock or not. It was a horrible experience all the way around.
Great Latin market in Laurel. They have all my Central American favorites, tortillas and Ducal beans and great produce for good prices, a nice bakery too. I just want to address some of the comments about staff being rude: I made it a point to speak to several of the staff and they were in fact very polite and helpful. It's not that hard to learn a little Spanish, yall If you make an effort to speak their language, Im sure it will go a long way
This store is the best kept secret to buying vegetables. They are dirt cheap and fresh, I always get my veggies here and it's always great.
Since they open this store a few years ago they have not fixed this..there's no way you can figure how much you pay for what items because there's simply no details other than ..vegetable $2.99 or meat $7.99 ..really??and customer service is not good cashiers always gossiping and do not pay attention..also they over charge you too often. I rarely go there.
0 Stars. I never have a good experience in this store. But since I rarely shop here, it hasn't been a big deal. Today was different. I went in to buy some Ramen noodles. Ramen noodles are generally pretty cheap. However, I am sure I was overcharged. I have never paid that much anywhere for them. Unfortunately, it wasn't priced on the shelf. BUT I have brought it before in this SAME store and it was significantly cheaper. Since there was a language barrier, I decided not to even bother to dispute. I will NEVER shop in here again and will be sure to share with my friends my VERY NEGATIVE experiences.
Meat dept has an unpleasant odor and everything is super expensive. The aisles are very well organized.
